Unfortunately he's in a lot of personal turmoil and desperately needs to get well! He's not even close to well enough to come back to gh much less be present in his own life! I'm perfectly ok with a recast and this actor actually looks very similar to Colton Scott a former Nikolas Cassadine portayor and eerily similar to Robert Kelker Kelly who portrayed Starvros Cassadine who is Nikolas's biological father!
I love this nikolas I wish it was Tylor but I know his faceing some iusses I love the way Nikolas went so Dark and hopfully he can make pace with Alexis and Sam and hopfully Nik can help Jason to make sam stay out of parison.
