also 43:34 the fact that it does a spin drain after draining some of the water in the final spin makes me think of the old norge/montgomery wards washing machines; they do a static drain until the water level is below the clothes and then they spin drain the rest out
Nice action, I did prefer the tub lock action but the turbo drum action is growing on me and without a belt driven motor it should be more reliable. It looks like it doesn’t tangle as much but need to see the main load that tangles (general clothes). But otherwise nice strong action. Agreeing with another comment the pump does give an 80’s vibe to it. Spin sounds quiet. The end tune is same but sound/tone is different. Probably the only thing I don’t rate is cycle times as it does fluff about with sensing and if anything like our friends small LG it would do it even if manually select load size. But it might not be as bad as I think. I think the 9kg will most likely be our replacement at this stage but I love the all metal drum on this machine more. And the crazy amount of options that I would only use 3-5 of.
At the start washing machine is making foam by doing that quirky motion for better cleaning. And never use detergent powder its made of 30 percentage of calsium that will sit under the washing blade and block the water. always use metic liquid so you don't have to descal your machine very often
thats what i call WASHING!! in Denmark where i live these machines are VERY rare i have seen two in my entire life in Denmark, both were of course imported.
Do you prefer LG top loaders or Fisher and Paykel? We are replacing our old Fisher and Paykel top loader and trying to decide between the brands. Sounds like you are quite happy with this machine.
This is a great machine! Fisher and Paykel are not as good as they used to be so if I were to choose I would choose this over fisher and paykel at this moment
@mattie17 thanks for replying! What do you think of LG's cheaper model. WTL3-09G (9kg). Doesn't have steam but has a lot of the same features as the 12kg
@ I think they are a good option! They have all that you need to get through your weekly wash and will do it well if you load it properly and keep it maintained. Regular Hot washes are your friend to prevent build up issues
If this model is anything like the 2019 one at my parents house I mean it looks pretty much the same other than the control panel the lid lock switch is on the lip above the LG logo just put a magnet on it and that will allow you to operate the machine with the lid open
Im look for who sell the washer i can't find it and when i get thought wash the clothes i have a panda dryer will the cloth fit or i would need to buy a bigger dryer
Be lucky! There is a reason why you don't find these top loaders in Europe... I have seen many Siemens in VN, those are way better.Washing better, uses less water and energy and treats your clothes better.
Using the Maytag commercial I had finished washing that load of clothes very well in 35 minutes. It's one of the details that I don't like about those LGs, they take about 10 minutes just filling and feeling the load of clothes and they do a lot of stupid things during the wash.
More time equals more agitation, and you can see how well it was swashing the clothes around. It definitely got the clothes cleaner than ur Maytag that’s for sure
I’ve used both, as I live pretty close to a laundromat (which I just go to out of boredom sometimes haha) the Maytags are certainly more time efficient but surprisingly I’ve found the Lg to be a better cleaner.
@@Ikey04-ge9gy They don't have short cycle times like the Maytag does. I think the longest wash period on the current Maytag commercial washer is the Powerwash and that's not even a full 12 minutes
the OMO you had looks like it is for export, while the ones we have appear a bit distinct (also having new package from 2020) 😶 but still i love the smell of OMO powder that i don't even need to use softener for scent 🥰

54:34 so glad to hear that end chime we all know and love
that end of cycle chime is low pitched compared to the regular one we know and love
it’s still very similar other than the pitch change otherwise it’s fine

Just bought a little Comfee portable washer with impeller that does a partial spin drain. Helps even out the load. Cool little powerful washer.
I’ve been watching your vids of it. It’s certainly a powerful little guy that’s for sure!
@@mattie17 Thanks Matt !
I'm not a fan of HE washers (have a SQ TC5) but this i would use. Would love to see a Heavy Duty Cycle😊😁
Really high tech machine🎉 hoping to see some big waveforce in service mode!
Just a quick note if you connect it to wifi you can change the end song on the thin q app
this machine has 3 or 4 end of cycles(the default is the one we know) as for the others are accessible through the machine's settings
Ooo which setting a menu is that? I didn’t notice anything on the settings menu on ours

If anything, the inverter pump reminds me of classic 80s pumps.
Yeah it definitely has a slight shaded-pole like sound to it, it does the same thumping like my Asko.
The turbo drum who removes toughest dirts from clothes
