I use a bottle jack to push the strut up. The one thing for sure about pushing the strut up is to push it up slowly. To prevent from damaging it . Also old struts/rusted out struts have a problem of falling back down. Also pushing the strut up to fast can damage the the strut. Think of like bending something to make it fit, but bending to much and to fast can cause you to break it. Also i push the strut up at 2 different spots to evenly push the strut up.
No im not rubbing in the front. I was only rubbing in the back. But i shaved that down a bit. If your rubbing whats your tire size? And does your wheels stick out past the fender?
It depends on tire size and whether or not you have the correct wheel offset. Some people just push the the strut plate up in the front. Some actually do a strut lift in the front and cups or spring lifters in the rear. It jus depends on what u want.
I cant tell you because these were blank wheels 24x10. so they weren't drilled with holes and the back spacing was max. Once i ordered them then they drilled the hole size for my impala and then the back spacing was shaved down to fit the impala car. But jus to let you kno since this is a 10 inch wide wheel the back spacing was shaved down all the way to the max.
How did you get the strut up, that’s my problem on my passenger side, it’s like it falls down or something whenever i hit a bump

What did you use to beat the metal back in the wheel well? I tried using a regular hammer but wasn’t strong enough.
@@dwighthicks53 use a heavy hammer and I used a grinder as well
@@YNGRICH419 So I’m basically flattening the piece of metal and grinding it down too?
Do I have to lift up my 2019 impala to feet 24s?
