Its very calming to sit on the stairs of the temple and feels the presence of Krishnan. I'm from mathura, and I feel the reels culture ruined the essence of such a serene place..but the way you showed this place, as a place of darshan and not just as a tourist.. this felt like a home that this place actually is. Radhe Radhe 🙏🌸
The city of many traditions and cultural rituals. Mathura one of the major destination of Brij Dham is well connected by Railways and by road. By the grace of God I had studied engineering in Mathura. Got various chances and opportunities to visit many temples of Mathura, Vrindavan, Goverdhan and other places of devotion. Interestingly as per a folklore or tale Lord Shiva is known as Kotwal of Mathura city all four directions have four dedicated Four Shivlingas giving all round protection to the city. I based the date only on archeological evidences available currently with us. I do mention that it might be much older and for that I’ll depend on our archeologists and historians to conclude - that’s not at all expertise.
Absolutely! Mathura is one of India’s oldest cities and I wish we celebrate its antiquity more. However, from the current evidences I would say it’s closer to 2500 years old. 6000 years old if too far back in time and it’s unlikely to be that old. I guess time will tell 🙌

I'm not a historian so go by what historians and archaeologists concur on and Nilesh's views are certainly considered to be fringe. Do watch the video I shared above as well.
