I agree completely. Nothing beats consistency and progression with the basic exercises and movement patterns. Those will definitely get you the best results
You don’t need movement. Hire three persons to do one rep for you. That’s three reps that doesn’t even include you. But you can own the right to each rep.
Loads of 'fitness influencers are lying to you' content from all the fitness influencers. The message is 'I'm the only fitness influencer you can trust'. Lmfao
OMG thanks for calling this bs out. I keep telling people these types are not what built the bodies you're looking at. Motivation dies quickly, discipline is what lasts.
Be your own motivation❤ I just deleted all of my socials since social media really took my passion of lifting away. Ever since I didn’t care about these influencers and social media, I actually love lifting again and I learned to motivate yourself not from an influencer
I guess this "paradox" that influencers focusing on the "science" aspect tend to be not as big and muscular stems from the fact that they didn't have the best genetics to begin with. So they might have experienced that just going to the gym, doing random workouts or following "bro splits" didn't work for them. So in order to get better results, they had to do more research to optimize their training. Conversely, for someone with a better genetic predisposition, almost anything works, including bro-science, so there is no need to fine-tune every aspect of training.
i am more of a science based lifter and i can tell you how simple it is to build muscle: 6-24 sets per week train to failure get stronger at your exercises eat 0.8-1 grap of protein per pound of bodyweight dont give up
I feel like it's more power in just changing the wording. Training versus working out just sounds like a big difference. Training indicates an actual goal is trying to be met, while working out is like, yeahh, im a go do these few push ups and sit ups hit the treadmill for about 10 mins and go home.
@AustinDunham love the content bro. Really well put 💪🏼💪🏼 I don't know if you've seen his videos, a guy named Ian Barseagle. I heard you speak on genetics and Ian from the looks of it, didn't have the proper genetics to even begin training for calisthenics (over 5 ft 11 inches and weighs 92KG). Please do explain the topic of genetics more on your next video and how that can potentially impact your progress in calisthenics.
We should be more focused on developing discipline and creating good habits Instead of looking for novelty and wanting other ppl to “motivate” you in the fitness space ! It kills me when ppl show me workouts they see on instagram 😒
Guys if you want to train and progress all your life, you gotta learn your body and find out what works best for you sticking to basics and managing intensity volume and frequency... If you work out hard as if it is your last workout, It will probably be your last workout.... Think it as a long term journey,... progress safely and constantly... and learn how your body reacts...
Good genes ( simon panda?? ) or Juiced? Me I do not care about all of that. I just train. And have a vision of the body I want. And I listen to my body. For the rest. I do not over complicated it. I do have a good genetics. Anyway.
Bro! You didn’t mention anything about PEDs. Which makes me think you’re on them. You couldn’t even bash anyone out there for this. This is phony balony! Sports Shredded channel has even called you out, the least you can do is due justice and show people that there’s a lot of fake fitness influencers instead your coping out with genetics. I had high hopes for this video but you did a 180 half way through. Do better!
I really do not believe in the genetics thing unless you really have some type of disability. We're all humans and can do the same as everyone else. When someone says they cant gain muscle or lose fat, they're not telling something about their diet or training routine.
Genetics have a huge part to play. Look at Tyson fury vs Anthony Joshua both elite boxers who wake up at 5am every day and train all day one looks like a body builder and the other looks like he doesn't train yet he would knock out AJ. Could say the same with Matt Fraser, has trained all his life and has been regarded as the fittest undisputed consecutive man in the world but when you look at his competition they look a lot leaner and muscular than him 🤷🏻♂️
@@LleonaidRodriguez Tyson fury fat is hiding his muscles and he doesn’t train that heavy a lot. He’s just a good fat overweight boxer. Probably doesn’t care how lean he is.
It's cause Greg always goes after clout. Austin's video's aren't popping like they used to years ago so he wouldn't bother. He goes after whoever's trending hence why he's done so many videos on Eubanks, Jesse James West, Bumstead and now Sam Sukek. It's how he stays relevant.
The best natural lifting channels are Alex Leonidas, BaldOmniMan, Natural Hypertrophy, GVS and FazLifts. If you want to gain a lot of relevant knowledge these are the people to watch.
@@RelaxAndSmokeMeth yea once ur 10% you can do a main gain phase....but 500 def then after 2-3 months eat at new maintenance cals for a week and repeat

Can you make a video about Carbs / Fat and how they benefit the muscle.
Kind of like how all these influencers lie about how much money they make so people working jobs will pay them thousands for a course

I’m loving the new style of editing for your videos. It’s awesome seeing you progress in your content. God bless you and keep going

You a gem brother. I really hope you stay the same with the times, so good.
This is a really good video dude. Particularly the insights on how to progress and the genetics of influencers. Great work
He’s a bad man. He does sinister reps.
All I heard was FACTS in this video! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Great video bro. One thing that was missed is a lot of these fitness influencers are juiced up as well as having top tier genetics
They literally are all on PEDS

I will be shredded by this December for my birthday !!

Regarding the lean/bulk, I am definitely not afraid to get a little fluffy.
I’ve been on a long-term bulk for the past 10 years.
Best advice ever
Let’s be honest, very few people can achieve being at 9% body fat and feel comfortable.
You are just blessed with good genetics
Thanks for the video it really helped
One Most crazy thing is that....guys spreading these simple workouts to look like them... actually build their body with other consistent training ,
very smart topics covered.

I agree with you that “fitness” is as big as it’s ever been. However people are in the worst shape they have ever been.
That's the irony. Everyone is either fat or ripped AF, there isn't much in-between.
These fitness influencer that do too much are what make working out seem corny and are ruining the fitness industry
Stay to the basics no cap.
Renaissance periodization is a good channel to look at for science gym advice , there's also John Shrieve
Most influencers take a lotta of shit to keep up appearances lol
I always said you can get the same results doing the basics on a regular basis

genetics only play 20% in your training after all
That's being naive. Look at which body types dominate certain sports and genetics don't matter
I think he means for people who blame their genetics it's almost always a cop out. Not if you've got an 8 pack vs 6 or if your calves are narrow.
Genetics have a huge part to play.
