Ahh I see your around my local city again. I’ve been over these lights many times on my bike, very interesting set up with Helios heads for the road and Microsense heads of the cyclists.
Cambridge seems to have a habit of using microsense traffic lights for the cycles. I love Cambridge, still more interesting ones to film around the city! Particularly Hills Road J/O Brookgate.
@@trafficsignalchannel I know which lights you mean, I remember what they looked like when I was younger and before that bus road to the station was there, there used to be a mellor that would face into the entrance to a construction site which is where the bus road is now and it was there for a while during when they were changing the construction site to the bus lane and there was no road there for a while. So it was a pointless mellor.
@@UKLCSandT Thank you for the info, just looked on Google back in 2008. That junction had some gems, looks like some cycle Mellors existed before the cycle lane got removed. Also more microsense traffic lights with the TSEU 3G regulation box. Seems the junction refurbishment works complete around 2012.
@@trafficsignalchannel I did reply to this but RUclips broke and wouldn’t let me send the message. I’ve been too that set of lights In Biggleswade where you went too and the wait button has come off the pole and is dangling from the wire.
I've seen those type of Microsense lights before with the TSEU 3G sign box
