A Gold Edition of the game is available on October 28, 2022 with the Winters Expansion included which comprises 3 more additional characters to The Mercenaries (Village), 3rd person perspective and over the shoulder gameplay and new story Shadows of Rose which focuses on Rosemary Winters 16 years after the main game. Third Person Mode: Play the main story from an entirely new perspective. The Mercenaries Additional Orders: Three new characters join the fray, including the towering Lady Dimitrescu, who will now be playable for the first time. Shadows of Rose: A new scenario starring a grown-up Rose
Resident Evil Village Characters include: Salvatore Moreau, Donna Beneviento, The Hound Wolf Squad, Chris Redfield, Elena, Mother Miranda, Heisenberg, Rosemary Winters, Mia Winters, Ethan Winters, The Duke, Lady Dimitrescu, Dimitrescu Daughters, Daniela, Bela, and Cassandra.
Resident Evil Village, stylised as RESIDENT EVIL VII.I.AGE is a first person Survival Horror title developed by Capcom. It will be released on May 7 2021. It will be the first Resident Evil game for the ninth console generation.
Years after the events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Ethan Winters has started over with his wife Mia, finally living in peace and putting the past behind them. However, Chris Redfield, the legendary hero from previous Resident Evil games, suddenly disrupts their life, throwing a devastated Ethan into a new and twisted nightmare in search of answers. The story is set in an isolated mountainous region around a village and the 15th century Castle Dimitrescu, where Ethan and Mia Winters fled in the years following the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the events of the game, an apparent Blue Umbrella operation led by BSAA Cpt. Chris Redfield assaults the village, sending the two men on radically different paths. Capcom has since confirmed the attacker is indeed Chris, and that Ethan's story will come to a conclusion.
The game is designed in a similar manner as 2017's Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, being a first person game with Survival Horror gameplay mechanics. The enemies are currently not yet known, though one of the enemies is human with canine attributes, invoking a mutation comparable with werewolves. These enemies can hunt the player in packs to be more dangerous. Like Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, this game uses its own currency mechanic. In this case, it uses the Leu, the name of Romania and Moldova's respective currencies.

The character models look STIFF and LIFELESS....i am sorry but this is lazy and boring graphics work and the game play is also nothing new.... .
in fact i would argue that RE 6 had more mobility than those character here or even in the new RE 4 remake.
( and I don't defend RE6 , i just use it as an example that at least there you could jump to the ground and shoot from there as well and roll around )

If you make A survival Horror game then you better make sure it has realism .... character movement ( running, walking, pumping into enemies or obstacles has to look REAL not the same STIFFNESS ) , weapons, monster movements, atmosphere, environment ...how about some basic crafting that you can actually use the items around you to create weapons or equipment for protection... something to get a SURVIVAL FEEL going.

The duke was planned to be the secret final boss that was the one who was actually pulling the strings for resident evil village. They changed it so Miranda was the final boss but kept duke as this weird entity that had strange powers and seemed to not be scared of Miranda and laughed at any attempts to harm him if you shot at him as ethan. So it’s cool they kept him as a villain in this dlc
I think miranda is "helping" her to maybe try and bring her back
@@jric1231 it could also be ethan. If the mutamycete actually save the memories of people who die next to it then it should of a good copy of ethan as he was literally made of the stuff but they could easily pull a twist that it’s Miranda or maybe eviline

@@jric1231 ethan was abnormally resistant to damage and capable of healing impossible wounds because he was made of the mold. Most mold creatures when heavily damaged mutate uncontrollably to save themselves but ethan had surprising control over his form (it might have been because he didn’t know he was made of mold and the fact no one controlled him like eviline) so when Miranda took out his heart he couldn’t survive because he may be able to heal deep wounds but it appears he is unable to create new mold to heal missing parts which is why he didn’t grow a new hand or in this case a new heart. So the mold was keeping him alive but because of how the mold works in his case he still needed a new heart and was slowly dieing. He was only able to last as long as he did because of his indomitable will to save his daughter was keeping the mold together (at the end he had more control over his mold but the mold was still dieing and he only had enough control to extend his life

This might sound weird, but watching this feels so nostalgic. It brings back memories of your walkthrough of RE7.
I got this early and all I can tell you Brad. You will be seriously amazed and touched by the hard work put into one of the longest DLC's the REsident Evil franchise has ever recieved. As you record this, my advice is to pay attention to every little detail, read through everything and try not to miss anything!
Edit: Oh yeah, by chance you see this. Play it again, on your own time. It has some serious double replayability and is worth it

I don’t have the time to play everything anymore as I have two kids - this fills my gap and feels so comfortable as I’ve been watching Brad since the last of us first play through; I’m sure we all share these moments. Okay the “statue game” you play at Donna’s estate where Mia’s mannequin chases you is by far the most terrifying thing ive ever experienced in a video game. Huge props to the creators for that idea.

I literally just finished RE village like a couple of minutes ago and here I am. It was one of the best games I have played in a while. The story was excellent now I want more... 😌

What i love about this is that I have a D&D character named, Winterrose. Also, when I DM (Dungeon Master), I sometimes run encounters where undead spawn from pools of blood. Been doing it for years. Winterrose 10+ years.

My favorite Series from you ever was Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil 8. Hopefully this goes just as well. I do think I like when you play in first person more however, and one thing I liked about them is that you took your time and looked around. I feel like you are rushing more in this one so far.

I've done some acting in the past, and it isn't as easy as it sounds to act when you're not actually doing anything but reading from a script. Kudos on all your videos. While I will say it's great to finally have the DLC ❤️❤️❤️, the beginning was rather timid for rose, given that she makes this big threat of how she's figured out how to do other things at the end of village. It's a little confusing for her to suddenly be so afraid of them that she doesn't even know What she can really do😅😅.
Right?😂 at the end I was like “woah shit Rose must be some prototype esque mutant or something”. (Prototype is an old game awesome where you play as a guy who basically has the dopest powers like venom or carnage) but then she glows and is weirded out by her powers I’m like huh? Didn’t she threaten the secret service dude with some vale threat of amazing power lol weird

It's just how he edits. He plays and record the game, then he cuts the uneccessary parts out, adds his voice, (also adding the intros) then schedules when the parts uploads, then boom onto the next game.

Coming back and watching this while watching your gow ragnarok series. From the note in the lab at the beginning stating that the megamycete absorbs the consciousness of those in close proximity to it, I have a heavy hunch that this is part of Ethan's consciousness speaking to Rose through "The Words", just a hunch but I have a feeling I'm right.
I bet the words are from Ethan helping his daughter survive.

Honestly, I've been impressed by the voice acting in the last few RE games. Rose's VA does really well here, as did Ethan's VA in the main RE8 story.
