Great bunch of really nice folks. I am enjoying your shows because I can still see many of my heroes here! My grandmother and her Philco Radio hold so many sweet memories and I thank all of you for still keeping them alive!! God bless each of you!!
Larry Gatlin mentioned Lanierland, that was a huge pasture near Lake Lanier in Cumming, Ga. The owners built a huge stage and had many many Country Stars perform there in the 80s. We saw Alabama before they were really famous. We saw lots of the big stars, Johnny and June, Loretta, Ronnie Milsap, Janie Frickie, Louise Mandrell, George Jones, The Statlers, Tom Jones and more. They did close it after years cause the Stars were beginning to ask more money. They had people to help us park bumper to bumper in a field. If you left before the ones you parked beside, you would sit there until lots of cars moved around you
I had Dottie’s signature. Too shy to ask myself, I told my son to walk up to her and ask for her autograph. She happily gave it to my 9 year old. We were at the airport in Nashville. She was waiting on luggage at baggage carousel. That autograph disappeared. Never did find out what my son did with it, but I am sure he thought it was his, the same with baseball cards he traded and sold, later. I am still mad about it.
When my daughter was about 19 Johnny Lee wanted a date with her and she said ok but my mama will come along. Well, he was surprised that a girl would turn him down but she told him she was not interested in going on a date with someone who objected to her mother's presence. Anyway, later on while he was married to Charlene Tilton he was charged with domestic violence against her. We are both glad that she turned him down.
When James Gregory told about putting 12 miles down on app form for nearest relative reminded Me of 2 of My crazy buddies where 1 put down for Wife's name....."Jeep" & the other puts for Sex..."What's That?"
Best music in the world, I just love it.
I remember watching Porter, and the Wilburn Brothers. I have loved country music all my life. I'm 77 now and still love it

Love these shows. Each one of them brings back memories of events in my lifetime. Keep them coming please.
Thank you for putting these classic shows back
I enjoyed this great group of singers from LaPaz, Leyte, Philippines.
The 80's were my teenage years. When the movie urban cowboy came out. It brought the cowboy out of me.
I love good country music too❤❤
If there is a more beautiful woman and nicer voice than Shelly West, I sure don't know who that woman would be.

Larry Gatlin seems to hog the whole show, others don't get up at all.
