DAILY DHIKR TO REMEMBER ALLAH (SWT) SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One." [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071] 2. Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Shall I tell you the words that Allah loves the most?" I said: "Yes, tell me, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The words dearest to Allah are: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi”. [ Muslim and at-Tirmidhi.] 3. La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah) [the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213, Sahih Muslim #4:2076] 4.SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest) The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685] Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. V
It was narrated that 'Uthman bin `Affan said (may ALLAH be pleased with him): The Messenger of ALLAH said: Whoever prays `Isha in congregation, it will be like spending half the night in prayer (qiyam) and whoever prays `Isha and Fajr in congregation, it will be like spending the whole night in prayer. (sahih muslim)
Jazzak Allah for this message but i will have to respectfully disagree on some points. You can work for your akhira in a 9-5, paying rent, living hand to mouth and it is not a curse from Allah. Earning a halal income for your family is considered a good deed in Islam. Some of us do not have the privilege to pursue a higher education in Islam or do masjid related work because we are the bread winners for our families. I believe Allah has not cursed me, he gives to who he wills and withholds from who he wills. Having money or struggling with money does not reflect your Akhira. Those who live hand to mouth should not be shamed they are already at their breaking point, paying rent monthly is a very hard thing to do because you dont have land or houses you own. Also the example of a doctor, i disagree with. Being a doctor is a noble profession when fused with Islamic principles. You are helping save lives and thats a big thing. If your expenses go up, that is the fault of the individual not the job they do. I sincerely believe you can work for your akhira while simultaneously working halal jobs but wAllahu Alam.
I would like to express my beliefs in our Heavenly creator whose dominating quality is LOVE, he created all because of his love,is that not amazing? everything he teaches us is for our very own good, For instance, there is a lady whose faith in the heavenly creator is very strong! She found herself becoming attractive to someone who didn't share ALL her religious beliefs, and she knew the things she had been taught very well, so, as it is that our heavenly father makes sure that she stayed on the path of rightousness and not get into trouble spritualy, she ended-up listening to a discourse about the very thing she had started to become attracted to,the message was, 'socialize, but know where to draw the line, for instance, if associations are going to interfere with your spritual beliefs, any of them, that's when you draw the line,so she made those needed changes because she loves the creator.
But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life,¹ then We will raise them up blind on the Day of Judgment.” They will cry, “My Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, although I used to see?” Allah will respond, “It is so, just as Our revelations came to you and you neglected them, so Today you are neglected.” ¹.The Reminder is another name for the Qur’ān. ‘This was the āyah the Imām read in Maghrib prayer, sadly it fell most likely on deaf ears. Why? We know Allāh but we do not give Him His rights; we read Allāh’s Book but we do not act by it. We claim to love Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ, yet we abandon his Sunnah! Sadly majority of our hearts are dead; how many āyāt from the [Glorious] Qur’ān are recited to us, yet our hearts are like rocks, rather worse in hardness!’ May Allāh awaken our souls.
