The Yodezeen team embarked on a visionary journey with the connoisseur family to create a harmonious blend of architecture and nature.
The project, spanning over two and a half years, resulted in a spacious single-story house nestled within a coniferous forest.
The family's love for nature was not only reflected in the design but also deeply ingrained into the essence of the home.
From the outset, the goal was clear: to erase boundaries between nature, architecture, and interior design. The absence of walls and the creation of green oases within the house exemplify this commitment.
Facade materials such as thermo ash, natural stone, glass, and metal were carefully chosen to mirror the hues of the forest, while maintaining a modern minimalist aesthetic.
The distribution of internal functionality drove the form and design concept. The living room, adorned with a fireplace and lounge area, was designed as a breathtaking space filled with fresh air, serving as the heart of the home. The architects strategically positioned high zones in the center to ensure privacy from neighboring areas, while the bedroom wings created a sense of internal microclimate.
The architectural centerpiece of the house is the three-level pyramid structure, meticulously crafted from a monolithic frame to seamlessly connect each zone. The use of "green wells" further integrates the landscape with the house, with live compositions inspired by German trends enhancing the feeling of nature indoors. Sophisticated technology ensures the preservation of greenery year-round, while an air circulation system and ground insulation guarantee comfort in all seasons.
In keeping with the ethos of blending with nature, the designers opted for cladding materials that echo the surrounding environment. Warm wood tones, light gray natural stone, and expansive glazing surfaces blur the lines between interior and exterior spaces, inviting inhabitants to immerse themselves fully in the forest surroundings.
Ultimately, the house stands as a testament to the synergy between human ingenuity and the natural world, offering the family a sanctuary where they can truly breathe in the essence of the forest and cherish moments spent together in its embrace.
