What a really notice here is how stable your core is at faster paces. By the time I get to 3min paces I'm leaned over and driving my feat down like a sprint (which is exactly what it is) if it wasnt for the background we'd back no idea you were moving faster: your upper body doesn't change at all. a side effect of cadence and form. Context, I'm not a fast runner, 21:30 parkruns. But try this... 10 mins on a treadmill at 10kph.... Feels like a nice, easy pace. Switch it up to 15kph for a couple of minutes..... Feels too fast at first but you get into it. Switch back to 10kph, it feels so slow you may fall over. Recently I've been lengthening the run segments while keeping an eye on my heart rate, like the other reply says, and watching my time per km come down that way. Best of luck as you find your own easy pace!
