@5:36 Actually, the seizure causing attack was from Pikachu. But, since the show was Porygon's first appearance in the anime, Porygon was forced to take the fall/blame and got banned from ever appearing in the anime....even though it was Pikachu that caused the issues and not Porygon. But, ya know....couldn't ban Pikachu since he was the star Pokemon of the show. So Porygon got the ban.
Kinda explains why the two don't get along even better, seeing as how Porygon got the blame for something Pikachu did.

This was so funny the first time I saw it. I saw it on FB, and half of the comments was people who didn't get the joke, and the other half was people laughing at the people who didn't get the joke. It was the perfect pokemon meme.
Actually, the strobe affect was caused by Pikachu but, since he is the mascot, Porygon took the blame. Since then Porygon nor any of it's evolutionary tree members have been in the anime.

Status moves have their value. Pokémon games are just so easy on their own the player is never given a reason to use them.

It's just like some Hypno do very wrong things, Hatterene is praying on humans in forests, Drifloon kidnaps children and all in all the world is filled with creatures that are able to kill you in all kinds of painful ways.
On the ghost thing, I think how it works is based on circomstance, and the soul's will, if the will of a human or pokemon is strong enough to stay in the material world, but not strong enough to sustain their old appearance, they just become a ghost type pokemon. If the willpower is strong enough to hold shape then they won't become ghost pokemon, they just keep the form they had.
This just makes me think why are so many people are in purgatory, also doesn’t really explain why they can breed unless it’s like creating a new vessel from some death in the world

The fairy type seems to represent the natural order of magic, while the dragon type seems to be harnessing magic and bending it to your will. So, imagine you use water magic to fight against the fact that water freezes. Dragon type moves don't affect fairy types because fairy types are essentially the natural form of magic.
This would basically be like the ying and the yang, where it is normally dark vs light, but instead one of those would fight against the balance itself. As if you could weigh how powerful an object is and then use it to fight against the scale itself.
Does that make sense? I guess a better example would be like taking an ice sculpture and throwing it at the ocean.

I mean... yeah I'd believe humans can turn into Pokemon, just as much as I believe people can fluff and reproduce with Pokemon. You play that Frosslass side quest in Legends Arceus? I think basically confirms humans and Pokemon are capable of this, the game suggesting the 2 snorunt were their children. Thus brings up the 2 questions I have are humans like ditto and what egg group are humans in? We still can't confirm how humans reproduce 100%... which seems odd, but true, we'd need to see a female human and male Pokemon interact to get that sort of answer. Also what would happen if a ditto and human interact?
Not a furry, just saying it's a thing. Also don't think it makes you a furry if you're into Pokemon... unless it's specific Pokemon, like Gardevoir I'd say monster girl class, then Lucario or Lopunny yeah totally furry, Vaporeon or Ninetails zoophilia or beastiality, then you got scaleys with their dragons and other reptilian Pokemon, you got... uggh bugs if you're into that, you got inanimate objects like a candle, you got ghosts that could fit in spectrophilia or necrophilia, you got a living cake that looks like it's seen some shit and been scared for life. Point is being into Pokemon doesn't automatically label you a furry, some do, but some don't like Gardevoir was only put into the human like egg group in SwSh, otherwise it was in amorphous only which consists of blobs like grimer and swalot, ghosts, and that cake (with the I see dead people expression), the only animal like thing out of it is slugma, and aside from obvious furry bait I would say some human like Pokemon like Machamp, Alakazam, or... eerrr Mr Mime would be safe. Just saying we of Monster Menagerie treat everyone equally, and you shouldn't be ashamed if you're into some Pokemon, AND that doesn't label you automatically a furry if you're afraid of that, me Meloetta and Haterene if they weren't too small, based off a Goddess from Greek mythology and a bunch of fairy tale stuff like Rapunzel and witches, they're not based off animals so monster girl. Otherwise the only other thing I'd be interested in would be Gardevoir, which I also classify as a monster girl... maybe Ditto if I wasn't afraid they'd take over the world and replace people, as USUM showed us they're capable of learning human speech and turning into people.

From what I can remember, Yamask, Cofagrigus, and Spiritomb are the only Ghost-Type Pokemon that are a result of a human/Pokemon passing away.
I think the one that looks like a ghost with a tree stump for a head is a ghost of a child.

The next time Noble forgets that Ditto can only turn into other Pokémon, I’m going to throw somebody at a Pokeball.
USUM, there is a side quest where Ditto turn into humans, also while not canon in the anime Ditto can turn into inanimate objects. However stated in the RBG dex Ditto can copy the genetic data of any enemy, I would assume this to also mean humans were you to encounter one and pose as a threat, gold dex entry it turns into a stone while it sleeps to avoid danger, Firered it can recombine its cell structure to turn into other life forms, meanwhile in Ultra Moon it can transform itself into whatever it sees. Which was used by a channel Dorkly in a comedy sketch of Ditto turning itself into the sun... while a joke, who knows how capable Ditto is of transforming. Also in USUM the ditto were capable of some amount of speech.
I see someone already covered it, but yeah I'd say the only thing Ditto is incapable of turning into would be another Ditto, even Mew that can also learn transform it can copy into... which also means Mew is most likely equally as capable and qualified as Ditto at transforming into absolutely anything and everything.

That was just a fan theory, some newer evidence has disproven it sadly by the creators... that or they were being extremely coy, I still think it's possible, heck it could be added in as lore at a later point, look at the cubone Kagaskhan theory, it's not true, but so well known in gen 7's sos battle a Kagaskhan will come help a Cubone.
Lore wise... I'd say Mew might be slightly stronger if not for megas, though it does have its own Z move. Mewtwo is still an incomplete clone, successful, but it's not an exact copy of Mew, it's its own thing, most likely imbued with human DNA too which is why it isn't a 100% clone of Mew. While only confirmed in the manga, having Blaine's DNA, I think this to be true too in game though, especially since Mewtwo X gains fighting type and looks more human, meanwhile Y looks more like Mew. Don't know if intent, but my theory and belief is this is Mewtwo accepting parts of itself, should it unlock Mewtwo Y it accepts itself as being its own individual being, that it isn't Mew, it has its own power and should be happy with being itself, and while ironic making it shrink to Mew's size and looking more like Mew its psychic powers are now unmatched by any Pokemon even Mew. Meanwhile Mewtwo X accepts its uniqueness, accepts its more brutal nature, realizing its potential to be better than humans, thus tapping more into its human DNA.
However... Mew can turn into any Pokemon, not sure on megas... never tried to see if ditto or Mew could transform into megas, but if it needed to Mew could turn into anything on command to combat Mewtwo or Mega Mewtwo, even Mewtwo itself. Then if even that isn't enough it has its own Z move.
You're right though, Mew is a jack of all trades, but as all RPG fans know that also means master of none. Meanwhile Mewtwo is tied with Rayquaza for being the strongest Pokemon to ever exist stat wise when in their megas, even Arceus' stats aren't that high, Primal Groudon and Kyogre are a little bit lower.

I know I've seen so many people in the comments hating on him for that, I wonder if it's a difference in generation? Cause I think Noble got his start gen 1, I did in 2. Back in those days we didn't have youtube, serebii, or bulbapedia to delve deep into the lore and meaning behind designs and names, Bulbasaur was an amphibean (another war starter, some say dinosaur, some say toad), charmander turns into a dragon even though it technically isn't, then squirtle is a squirrel turtle even if it isn't. Look at the nido lines, they're what a rhino, reptilian, rodent, rabbit thing? You either had weird amalgamations back in those days or... a seal and a magnet.

My first official shiny was a female Wobbuffet in pokemon Blacks mirror cave, the RNG gods were in favor of me that day because it was also the first Wobbuffet I ever encountered
Mine was Golbat in Emerald... if we're talking about seen, first legit caught was a tentacool in HGSS if we're not counting Red Gyarados... Silver was my 1st game so I knew of odd colored Pokemon, but didn't know the whole thing about them, didn't know it was rare, and thought the Gyarados was just I don't know placed there intentionally. Came across the Golbat right before leaving Victory Road, exhausted, my Pokemon about to faint, sick of Golbat and Zubat (the freaking ratata of the cave, tentacool the ratata of the sea). Said the heck is with this green Golbat, ew and ran from battle just so I could leave the cave... didn't realize till many years later that was my 1st shiny, at full odds too, AND back in the day when the odds were much higher than by the time we get to gen 5.

i mean using only damaging moves in playthroughs is fair, but if you are given the option to learn something like swords dance or calm mind, i would certainly teach it to someone to sweep harder foes

I'd live in Po Town. Aside from the fact that the rent's probably cheap enough for me to actually afford it, even if the town is run down as shit you're still in the Pokémon version of Hawaii, if memory serves not overly far from a much nicer city and the beach too.
