      There's people there, it's sunset time, not clubbing time. Many people however are a couple miles down the street in midtown, some are in Uptown etc. Lots of areas to chose from.

    Why is Houston downtown so empty?

    • @fragilerovers
      @fragilerovers  6 месяцев назад +2

      There are many reasons for, asides from general factors such as people choosing to work and shop remotely from home, downtown Houston is so large so people are spread out in different parts making it hard to find a high concentration of people at a particular location at the same time. Another reason is downtown Houston has an underground tunnel that sometimes people prefer to just navigate through this tunnel as it connects several buildings together. In the case of this video, I filmed it on a weekend and I think that is another factor why it looked that empty.

    Lol, this video is only showing one phase of downtown Houston. Might have been an early week night when people don't really hang out downtown. Downtown is but only one spot in a massive city like H-town. But people do party or enjoy late nights out in downtown Houston as well as in Midtown, Washington Ave, New Chinatown...heck even in The Woodlands. People in the Houston area can party in the inner city yet can concentrate tens of miles away from downtown.
