My problem is step 26. The boards have the 3 holes spread out that the instructions say are wrong. They didn't provide the 4 boards with the holes closer in. When getting to step 28 the boards don't fit. I suspect there was a design change. The only solution I came up with is drive the 65 miles back to Ikea and get them to give me the correct boards. Ikea doesn't ship missing or broken part replacements like they did in the past, so I found out. Honestly, I feel like taking the whole thing apart and return it since I have to drive there anyway.
In case this helps anyone: just made this bed with 2 people who don’t often do DIY, a cheap electric screwdriver, and it took about 5 and a half hours. Could have gone quicker if we had another screwdriver or more energy! Protect your knees as there’s a lot of kneeling down.
Am I able to move the 90 degree headboard to the other side? I want to move the bed from the northeast corner of the room to southeast corner, feet facing the opposite way. Is this possible?
I assembled the bed following the instructions. I am having an issue of with the wheels. The wheels on the sides are not touching the floor but the wheels in the middles are touching the floor. This is causing the bed to dis balance. Has anyone faced a similar issue?
Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for this wonderful series of video. They’re very useful. However, after finishing the part 2, I have a doubt concerning the appearance of the bed when you join both parts/frames at 14:10 In my situation, the wooden panels of both frames are not at the same height or same level. I mean: when I join the extending frame with the main frame and close the bed in 1 block, the wooden parts of both frames are not at the same level (most of all in the further part close to the wall). It seems that in your video the same thing happens and I want to be sure if it is normal. The wooden parts are not totally parallels and it is quite strange for me. Could you confirm everything is ok? Thank you.
Yes everyone asking the same question when I do this or HEMNES bed. As long your bed closing without problems that’s how the bed slats should be not even. Not Sure why but I guess there is reason for it.
I think there may be a mistake- when you're screwing in a pair of boards you say screw it in on hole 2 and hole 12. The manual says hole 2 to 10, and that's what it looked like you did in the video. But aside from that, this series is really helpful when I'm pitting my bed together, thank you so much!
Thank you for taking the time to make these in depth assembly videos - my parents couldn't have assembled this bed with just the manual!
Thank you for watching

The manual shows 2 and 12 for me and everything came out perfect.
