This current version of the republican party that can be easily described as Trumplicans have no problem being open and honest about their hated for the idea of minorities in general and black people in particular gaining any traction in equality. The democratic party, who i think is trash because to me they insist on bringing knives to gun fights so to speak, not only open themselves up to a more diverse membership but also they acknowledge if not act on various issues that move a whole lot more towards representing issues that affect more than middle aged wealthy white men. And when it comes to black interests specifically the congressional black caucus has not one republican member. That may not mean much to you but it says in plain words there's no interest in their part in anything concerning black people period. We as black people have the obligation to push our elected officials to move on things in our best interest and not just sit back waiting on something to happen. Now that said, there are plenty of examples of black people taking full advantage of their position for personal gain that doesn't help the cause but there are even more examples of black people in office or not that are fighting in spite of those stereotypes and disengaged black voters to make a better world for the next generation.

This current version of the republican party that can be easily described as Trumplicans have no problem being open and honest about their hated for the idea of minorities in general and black people in particular gaining any traction in equality. And when it comes to black interests specifically the congressional black caucus has not one republican member. We as black people have the obligation to push our elected officials to move on things in our best interest and not just sit back waiting on something to happen. Now that said, there are plenty of examples of black people taking full advantage of their position for personal gain that doesn't help the cause but there are even more examples of black people in office or not that are fighting in spite of those stereotypes and disengaged black voters to make a better world for the next generation.

First of all your premise is bogus. Black unemoyment went from 12% to 6% under President Obama. It went from 6% to 4% under Trump. If you want to give him credit for that fine, but now black unemployment is at 10% what is Trump doing?
