- This Sword Lockheed RF-80A Shooting Star was painted in an unusual colour scheme with olive drab uppersurfaces. The build is mostly out-of-the box, with a few added small details.

Very nice result of a bit hard kit! I must check some of the Sword kits, I learned some times ago these are nice short - runs in general. ;) All the best for You! ;)
Thanks! Not only are Sword kits very nicely detailed, but they are also (imho) easier and closer to regular kits in construction than other short-run brands (e.g. Art Model, RS Models). I can definitely recommend them!
Going down the road feeling bad bad bad. Don't want to be treared this a way 🎵🎵🎶🎵🎶
Ik sta wederom versteld van de kwaliteit van de realisatie van jullie kits! Altijd leuk om zulke mooie foto's te zien!
Thanks for the compliments! I hope to see a beautiful new build on your channel!
Great job 👍
Thank you!🙏
Not good looking but sure looking good!
Thanks! I guess..?😅
Wow beautiful end result! It sure looks different with that recce nose and I love the wavy olive green upper surfaces. Who makes the recce nose?
Was this a tough kit to build?
Thanks!
I gathered that you already found my inbox review of this Sword kit.
Besides that it's a short-run kit which generally have some peculiarities (like no location pins, PU detail parts) I think it builds just nicely. One point of attention may be the air intakes. Those may need some careful aligning and sanding. But other than that, I liked the build a lot.
lovely build
Thanks much!
Nice result 👍
Thanks for the compliment!
Nice job, mate! Never knew this plane but it looks pretty cool - expecially with those awkward drop tanks!
Thanks! Most F-80s were in natural metal, but I really wanted one with some camo green. And the Misawa tanks make it indeed look a bit cooler!
