You're brother must of been a amazing soul . Reaching out for the special special occasion to smooth some ruffled feathers of birds out of one nest says he was special and still is in your heart and mind. Myself and a longer life aren't on the same pages. He did see you glow in a brothers love. Take care.
Cheers friend, to good memories and the making of them! Memories are the slowing of time. The eternal juices to the fountain. Drink and live long brother.
I recently relapsed, I'm a recovering alcoholic, and this song hurt way too much to hear. I relate to every single word. It's hard to go on when you think you can't be happy sober, but know you'll die drinking. I've felt my emotions had become stone for a while, wondering if I should be alive still. Yet when I hear this, it reminds me I still have my heart and I break out into tears. I'm reassured that my heart is not made of stone. I may break again in the future, or maybe not, but I know I haven't turned to stone. And that's enough to get me by
Breaking and mending continually lets u know youre alive❤while we all break differently, we all do break. We hear "life is hard" a lot but its true. The lows lead us to the highs if we hang in there. My dad lost a great friend in a car wreck just over a year ago. Our family’s had always been super close so it hit me really hard too. When we walked into the viewing for him this is the song that was playing. I had never heard it before but since then this song has always held a special place in my heart and always will.
I feel I've just crawled out from under a rock to have only just now learned this band exists. And thats only because of Colin Stough's amazing performance of it. I'm a huge music buff and am bewildered as to why I've never heard of them. Incredibly talented.
I don’t care if you consider this “country” or not. It’s REAL music.. you can FEEL it.. and that’s what country music used to be all about. It’s starting to come back around.

Country is the beginning and end in all music. The soul the story telling reminds me of Sunday’s when my mum would cook dinner listening to the greats of country x
This song/band was featured on Yellowstone. I was watching and got captivated by this song. It reminds me of The Band. Sounds like good old fashioned 70's country rock. Good to hear the genre is still alive

I know you meant well, but that's spiritually treacherous language.
Stunning group & song - God bless.
@@Blessed.2.Teach.4God thing is we need them too in the way music has progressed we need those influences to be present so we don't forget who created there own genre and that lane.
Heading from Northern Ontario on june 3rd on motorcycles to see these guys in Wheeling West Virginia.... cant wait.
Country-Rock-Stuffs. Yes. I only discovered these people because of my dad and it am forever grateful for that because this is great music lol.
HELLO🥰 THANKS FOR WATCHING AND COMMENTING ON MY RUclips CHANNEL🎶
My dad lost a great friend in a car wreck just over a year ago. Our family’s had always been super close so it hit me really hard too. When we walked into the viewing for him this is the song that was playing. I had never heard it before but since then this song has always held a special place in my heart and always will.
Oh wow. Ya, that would be intense and imprinting.

So cool...a contestant on American Idol just did this song...got all three yesses and is moving on to Hollywood.
Here from yellowstone and happy, to knew this unbelievable music... Great voice... !!!
I'm out here on kentucky lake fishing and I think I've listened to every song they've made while fishing
I'm late to the table, only just heard this song, absolutely amazing.
Just found my new favourite band 👍🤘
So have I. But still love my Kid Rock.....so I guess whiskey Meyers is my favorite band but kid Rock is my all time favorite artist
I feel I've just crawled out from under a rock to have only just now learned this band exists. And thats only because of Colin Stough's amazing performance of it.
I'm a huge music buff and am bewildered as to why I've never heard of them. Incredibly talented.
American Idol brought me here.amazing powerful lyrics.absolutely beautiful
Finally decided to start watching Yellowstone. That brought me here and loving this song!!!!
I don’t care if you consider this “country” or not. It’s REAL music.. you can FEEL it.. and that’s what country music used to be all about. It’s starting to come back around.
More country than the crap they play on the radio!!! 💜

I'm London born and bred, and have always primarily been into hip hop music 2Pac, Biggie, Eminem, and many others - but there's just something so beautiful and soulful about country music I just find myself attracted to it...

Agreed, extremely underrated
Refreshing that great music still exists. It’s better that they aren’t mainstream, it keeps their identity pure. Thanks Whiskey Myers for writing fantastic music!
You don’t have to enjoy country to appreciate art like whiskey myers creates
Perfectly stated.
Alguien más viene por que la escucho en YELOWSTONE ahora doy las gracias por hacerme escuchar y no perderme de esta joya ❤

Takes me back to when I lived and worked in Victoria, Tx. Great music from another great East Texas band.
I know you'll never see this, but I miss you more than any words can ever say... I wish you'd come back home, where you belong.
What a voice this guy has !!!!!
Merci Yellowstone.....
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song.
Country is the beginning and end in all music. The soul the story telling reminds me of Sunday’s when my mum would cook dinner listening to the greats of country x
Going to see them in Columbia, South Carolina tonight!!! So excited 👍🤟
So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song. How are you?
Just discovered this great band from binge watching Yellowstone! So glad I did!
Remember what season and episode it was on? I remember hearing it on that series also but forgot what episode.
@@haies09 I believe season 1 episode 4 but not 100% on episode
@@standbyfortones5554 you’re correct. Thanks
This song/band was featured on Yellowstone. I was watching and got captivated by this song. It reminds me of The Band. Sounds like good old fashioned 70's country rock. Good to hear the genre is still alive
Ken Klein this song reminds me of skynyrd so much when the line, “ or have you turned to stone” comes on.
This is Southern Rock
I hear The Band too! Thank you!
Amen!!! OBSESSED with them, also heard them on yellowstone, can't get enough of either!
You look good in neon
My future Wife must love this song as much as I do
I was never country..but this song bangs..great..
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song.
