However, if you were not a nurse from home country then unfortunately you must complete the nursing education first in order to be eligible to write licensing exam. i heard you can work in the united states with this new Rex-PN license since its a US adaptation uses the same as NCLEX-PN computerized adaptive test. like its under the NCSBN. As far as i understand, they just made it US based so that RPN's (LPN) can travel to the states???

If you want to study nursing in Canada then you will have to take the pathway program first because you do not have all the required courses. Otherwise, you can take those course from back home, finish them and then apply for the direct admission. Hope it helps!

Depending upon registration body that you will apply with. For Ontario, you will not be required to write English language proficiency test prior, you can write it any time before getting license. Hope it helps!

Does the rexpn use conventional lab value units or international units example BUN 6-20 mg/dL conventional OR 2.1-7.1 mmol/L international
RExPN is a Canadian exam, so based on Internation Units (mmol/L).
