Babel is my one of my favourite books of last year. I’m always thinking about it! Worth the read.
babel is sooooooo good. you really have to power through the first half though, but once you hit a certain point it's so worth it and it's meant to be that way because it's a response to the secret history. i read babel almost a year ago and i have yet to go a day without thinking about it, especially the ending.

if you love dance of thieves, pleaseee consider reading the Kiss of Deception trilogy, as its technically book 1-3, and dance if thieves is book 4-5! same world! and a lot of characters in the dance of thieves are actually the characters in Kiss of Deception. I personally love them more than the duology but it will also make understanding characters in Dance of Thieves much easier!
