Posted as DA in Westbengal.. will choose this post in every universe. You get enough time for study, although that's not my priority. Workload is never too much. You have responsibilities but no one can hold you solely responsible if anything happens. No pressure at all from Treasury. Sometimes Executives get involved for personal issues, but that depends on you how you handle the matter. Most importantly you enjoy more freedom in PWD office than AG office. Honestly the best job for people who like to enjoy life and have passion for traveling or any other thing. Talking about the late DA increase, it varies from state to state, in West Bengal we get state matching orders within 15 days. Only con is social respect. People stand up when you enter office, but hardly anyone outside the office knows who you are, but it's fine. Be positive. Considering other posts, cons are far less here. Best of luck
@@Happyly_looser salary does not change state to state. Only HRA differs placewise. Basic pay 35400 , add DA, HRA..

Experience of DA MP may be this,but this video will be misleading if people think that's situation in all over india. As a DA(now DAO-II) from WB since 2017, my experience is completely different:
1. Got posted in X city in 3 years.
2. We sign our own salary bill, and in these 5 years never got state govt DA ,always got Central rate of DA. And we get 14% govt contribution in NPS,never got 10% as stated in the video.
3. In 90% office in west bengal ,DA gets own chamber ,own computer and most of them have AC too.
4.Treasury office and AG never gives pressure. Executive Engineer gives pressure though.
5. dead division means there is no contractor work, there are works of establishment like pension,GPF, leave etc in dead divison too. "Powerless","worthless" you will never feel because even in dead divison, executive engineer and all other staff wants you to check pension, gpf so that mistake never happen
7. In district, DAs get so much respect that office cars come to station to pick them up .
8. I got my first promotion in 5 years and now I am DAO-II. After 2 years then one get DAO-I, then after 2 years one get Sr DAO depending on vacancy.

There's negative aspect in each and every job and if you start looking at only negative side of any job then even Prime Minister is not a good job for you. DA provides such power and freedom which no other SSC job's can match but there are some cons too like every job but still overall it's a very good job for aspirants who are looking towards peaceful life,further studies or homeposting.

No, PAN India jaha bhi CAT ki office hai.
I was a divisional accountant in Odisha, year 1979 to 1984. After probation and passing of Divisional Test we were posted to PWD Divisions. My salary was paid at Division office, in Odisha PWD, Irrigation office were drawing salary directly, not through treasury. A divisional accountant was no 2 in the office. Executive engineer was no1. Now a days some of the divisions are headed by Superintending Engineers. DA post is a lonely post he stands on side and rest of staff on the other side. DA survives on the basus of logic, reasoning and adherance to rules. If one is not very rigid then he commands great respect and admiration.

I am not aware of all the thing what is going on in other department. Whatever I personally say is based on the inputs provided by those who are working in that department.
In this case, an ex DA is sharing his experience, not th ex AAO. What would he be told- no no don't speak anything bad, don't tell the problems that you faced....
You are not getting the point. I have seen your previous video where you are saying people should avoid DA and then you share this video. It shows clear intention of defaming the DA post. Only the cons that too which has been faced by a particular individual in a particular state are being shared. This is not at all the scenario of this post in many other states.
Obviously toppers should avoid DA. Why should they take a low paying job, if they have better options.

My friend switched to ASO in CSS from DA in odisha, he is from bihar. Got DA in CGL 18 and then switched to CSS through CGL 19.

जैसे DA state के अंदर आते है,, state govt. उनकी सैलरी देती है,, तो सर मेरे को एक doubt था,, chattisgarh मे ops (old pension scheme ) है तो क्या retire होने के बाद हमें ops milega या NPS ही मिलेगा 😜
