I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates what the ultra rares are called in Sword and Shield. Like, *V* cards? That's sounds so boring and doesn't even sound good, unlike EX or GX, which sounds so badass!

Coming back here when Scarlet & Violet’s Base Set is almost here hits hard. This batch of cards from 2020 had to have been the best ones yet. Thank you for everything. This entire range has kept me occupied throughout the pandemic in the UK.
Glad I wasn’t the only one. We’ve really really increased the card quality and pull rate since this time.

In my opinion, the V cards definitely look better than GX cards. The reverse holos I love what they did with incorporating the symbols into the holo pattern. I would say the weak point is the holo cards, but I do like what they were going for with sort of patterned look to them.
Nice also I wish I can look for the Sword and Shield booster packs
Damn its really two weeks before the expansion. Looks like it was alot of fun to open these swsh base set cards, thus it gets me hyped to get to this series via Dollar Tree and Walmart. The Booster Box did look sick honestly though-
I think this is the first unlistedleaf video I've watched in years. Glad to see ya haven't changed my man! Also haven't really collected any pokemon cards for a while. But I really want to get back into it! Getting those ultra rare pulls are so satisfying!

Your pokemon openings are the best
The reason the code cards are done like that (green = reg rare, white = holo or better) is to make the packs un-weighable. I believe the plain green codes are printed on slightly thicker card stock so that all of the packs weigh the same whether they have an ultra rare in them or not
if you dont want to ruin the suprise whilst opening a pack, dont look at the code card

If I didnt play as much video games as I did, I'd probably buy a booster box when the set has alot I want. Pretty much since I started with lost thunder. I'd only have bought 2. One for cosmic eclipse and and one for unbroken bonds. (But I have those weavile gx so I guess its fine)

A little side note for you, Fairy type's are no longer part of the Pokemon TCG. I don't know the reason for it, but you will not find any Fairy Pokemon cards in Sword & Shield. Also, Pokemon that were fairy before will become psychic, and Pokemon that were poison before are now dark.
Is it normal for the factory sealed on the base sets to rub off? I just bought 2 and they are doing that. Don't know if these are fakes.
