I would rather pay a few more pennies more for our own British Farmers produce, than that foreign cheap muck anyday.. Support our Farmer, not Starmer!..🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴
A ridiculous, ignorant answer to Richard Tice question . It appears Labour ministers think they can treat the public with contempt. Good to see Reform challenging this corrupt government, unlike the Liberal party that remain silent .
Disgusting flippant reply from the minister to Lee Anderson, that trivialises a desperately important matter. These people are nothing like the Labour minister's of old, under Harold Wilson or Callaghan, when they were PM; instead in sharp contrast they are callous, remote and vicious - quite horrible !
Isn’t it part of an MP’s job to answer difficult questions. If this is happening the question is a legitimate one. It’s hiding and skirting round the issue of things that’s causing the problems in this country. Well done Tice for speaking plainly.
The whole country regardless of what side your on need to support our farmers. It’s an absolute disgrace what Starmer has done. Up there with the winter fuel allowance cut to pensioners.
How On Earth Can These Ministers Draw A More Than Substantial Wage And Spurt Such Crass Responses Should Never Be Able To Hold Such A Position In Parliament
I am a farmers daughter. Unfortunately mum has gone and dad has lost his sight.... We all worked hard. Never had any money because every penny had to be put straight back into the farm. We never had a holiday. Farmers might be property rich, but most are cash poor.....There is no such thing as spare money when you are a farmer!!!!
I know the questions in the House have always been a bit of a "Punch and Judy show" but this is supposed to be democracy in action - holding the executive to account. The speaker should have the power to INSTRUCT MPs and ministers to answer pertinent questions in a direct and TRUTHFUL manner.
Absolutely frightening the way this new government’s cabinet answers questions in Parliament when they are challenged over Labours policy on anything that affects this country….farcical at best downright irresponsible at worst …CLUELESS and that’s when they are reading a prepared response…🤷♂️🤷♂️
What is it with these Labour MPs, they never answer a question, or laugh or ramble on so you cannot understand a word they are saying. It just shows the contempt they have for the people of this country, the whole lot of you Labour MPs disgust me,
All labour have proved is that thier mps are politically inept. infact they can't give a straight answer because they are proving to be no good one's. NO FARMER'S = NO FOOD AND NO BRITISH COUNTRYSIDE 😡 I STAND WITH THE FARMER'S 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Mps should spend a week working on a Dairy farm in winter, then think about what they are doing to our food sources, if it does not open their eyes nothing will, Labour not for people, just profit. Large supermarkets take the money and leave he farmers struggling.
No business acumen or appreciation of rural and agricultural life or the big picture. The production of food is not a problem because they mistakenly think their friends in the EU can supply our Supermarkets. However the EU are in fact trying to shut down Agriculture in their rush to Net Zero as well. There are more brains in False Faces!
Blatant & pathological it runs through the whole cabinet & no doubt the party as a whole! They are tied to the WEF's agenda rather than their manifesto!
Dreadful,he hasn’t got a clue if he worked in the private sector he would be sacked along with the person who put him in charge of such a vital industry
Farm shops and only home grown in the shops. I already do that where I can but from now on if it isn’t home grown, I’ll go without. If Stalin Starmer and his highwaymen went on holiday for 6 months, nothing would happen. If our farmers went on holiday for 6 months we would be in big trouble. Our shops would look like the Russia of old - Stalin Starmer’s wet dream
Smarmer nor any of his ministers give proper answers to questions asked in the house. They either give smug replies or spout out some standard mantra. Is it not the role of the speaker to insist that they give anwers relevant to the questions?
@johnmoncrieff3034 Yes he should clamp down on personal abuse, rudeness, bad language etc. but if you cannot ask a tough question and expect a relevant reply what is the point of PMQ'S.
they know exactly what they are doing, it is exactly what they have been told to do. the land has more value than the people as far as the metro set are concerned, watch who swoops in to buy the land and how it is used.
Yes individuals like Bill Gates. look what he is doing in the US, he has bought up 370,000 acres of prime land and is leaving it fallow but is building factories that will produce Bug & Insect burgers that have little nutrition compared to fresh meat. Which he is against on the grounds of Climate change!
Name the farmer ,who in their right mind would say well done for introducing a policy that would mean selling up ,a family farm owned for generations , he must think that the public are fools .
The only name that comes to mind is one Bill Gates who has the cheek to call himself a farmer just because he owns 370K acres of prime farm land in America, but does not farm it! Plus he had a private meeting with Starmer, Reeves & this minister prior to the budget and this very thing was no doubt the main topic of discussion!
I think this farm tax is an absolute disgrace, as Lee Anderson said about the farmer in his constituency not drawing a wage from the farm for over 4 years, there are many more farmers out there that are in the same boat, just look at the likes of Clarksons farm, in his first year if it wasn’t for Jeremy’s other incomes his farm would have little more than £100, now no matter how you look at it that is not as labour enjoy saying these days “a liveable wage” for anyone, and it clearly shows just how little cash farmers have laying around to pay an extortionate amount inheritance tax, the farmers would have to sell land to pay the tax, which in turn further reduces the amount the farm can grow and sell, the way I see this inheritance tax is a short term underhanded land grab scheme, the farmers will be forced to sell lands to pay the tax, developers will be the ones with the funds to buy the lands and then a dodgy deal with government and they will have a rapid decision that gives the planning permission to build homes, how else is labour meant to keep up with their house building guarantee.
My friend owns a small pub in a farming community he has banned all Labour supporter's from our pub and community shop we don't want them hear my friend said traitors
Disgusted with inheritance tax in general & to put it on farm's passed down in generations is literally biting off the ✋ hand that feeds us,greedy of labour & consequences of this will haunt them for hopefully full term if they make it
Yet another smug Labour minister , beneath contempt
I’m utterly disgusted by this Labour MP
The Labour minister was a disgrace, he offered no answer, what a waste of time, utterly useless.
Should be expelled from Parliament permanently.
Why does the speaker allow such insults to the electorate of this country.
Well done Reform speaking up for our farmers 👍💙🇬🇧💙
I can't believe that any farmer would congratulate labour on this policy. Just another lie. Obviously, it's all labour do.
No farmers congratulated them. The Labour front bench are taking their cue from Starmer and reeves (he is lying)
The whole cabinet have been schooled in pathological lying!
He was probably talking to a fatcat who owns half a dozen farms with managers working 17 hours a day to keeo them going.
I would rather pay a few more pennies more for our own British Farmers produce, than that foreign cheap muck anyday..
Support our Farmer, not Starmer!..🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴
What a disgusting answer!
A ridiculous, ignorant answer to Richard Tice question .
It appears Labour ministers think they can treat the public with contempt.
Good to see Reform challenging this corrupt government, unlike the Liberal party that remain silent .
It’s land grab imo
Bill Gates. Here in Downing Street a couple of days ago
Heartiess gutless response. Well done Richard Tice and Lee Anderson. Keep up the pressure.
Farmers before any MP. 🇬🇧
They're stopping them from growing food and now they want their farms. Disgraceful.
It's all the ruse to get us back into the EU, and be dependant on them again..
@@margaretflounders8510 Not a ruse it's a WEF agenda enactment.
bill gates wants the farms ,control the food control the people .
They are following the WEF's agenda to turn the UK into the Islamic dustbin of the world!
Bill Gates plan
Pensioners.
Small companies.
Farmers.
Students.
?
LABOUR MUST GO
And the speaker as he is all for labour.
@@SharonDelaneyosenYes,because he is Labour!
Much respect for whoever thought of that slogan its brilliant on that t-shirt
Isn’t it part of an MP’s job to answer difficult questions. If this is happening the question is a legitimate one. It’s hiding and skirting round the issue of things that’s causing the problems in this country. Well done Tice for speaking plainly.
It seems Labour MPs are all taking a lead from Starmer in not answering difficult questions put to them in Parliament. What a way to run a country.
Smug...evil.....
And sadly a farmer has taken his own life 😢
The whole country regardless of what side your on need to support our farmers. It’s an absolute disgrace what Starmer has done. Up there with the winter fuel allowance cut to pensioners.
And it has happened today. Shame on this government it's vile
How On Earth Can These Ministers Draw A More Than Substantial Wage And Spurt Such Crass Responses Should Never Be Able To Hold Such A Position In Parliament
What an idiot
It’s all gum bumping …nothing changes no matter what is exposed . We still have to live in LabourLand!!
You never get a serious answer to a serious question from Labour. This government is going to go down as the most hated in living memory.
They don't answer because they don't know the answer.
They are all following the example of Sad IQ Khan! A pathological lier!
Brilliant t- shirt
Could the Farmer please step forward who agreed with this Labour minister.
ITS TIME THE KING DISSOLVED PARLIAMENT !
Just another lie from Labour
There are no words that adequatly describes the reply from the labour minister's response to the question
We all need to write to our MP's and demand they answer properly or we will recall them from parliament!
I read that our lovely farmers plan a demonstration this month. I also hope the farmers' union can lobby parliament, as this doesn't seem right.
I want to know who that farmer was, he bespoke to name him.
That Labour response is disgusting.
Surely these Labour amateurs cannot last five years……….can they?
I bloody hope not !!!
Can this country last five years under this extreme left-wing government, I rather think not.
I can’t see them jumping of the gravy train, can’t you?
Only if we do nothing to stop them! Demanding our own MP's stick to the manifesto or we recall them is one way!
Disgusting Labour , do not trivialise this outrageous tax on farmers and their families , appalling budget decision
I am a farmers daughter.

That Minister was not Squirming - he just did not care! Maybe he will when the shelves have no food on them.
NO FARMS, NO FOOD 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
that's the whole idea. They want total control of us.
HOYLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SACKED FOR THE STUNT HE AND STARMER PULLED EARLIER IN THE YEAR
Reform will blow labour and the torys out the in he next election true brits in Britain are fed up with both of them. Vote reform.
A sad day for farmers expecting a valid reply
Oops! Might make it happen in real life, but can't mention it might happen. Upside down world. Upside down Government.
Do we have to suffer with this Labour party for 5 years ,why can't we vote on removing them for total incompetence
Coward.
It has already happened
Simple no farmers no food shortsighted stupidity par for the course typical labout
My father was a hard-working farmer. This is a national witchhunt on every section of society. Starmer must resign, surely.
What a tosser !!!
Farming is not a job it’s a way of life hard work and dedication like to see Starmer try it for a week 🏴🏴
I know the questions in the House have always been a bit of a "Punch and Judy show" but this is supposed to be democracy in action - holding the executive to account. The speaker should have the power to INSTRUCT MPs and ministers to answer pertinent questions in a direct and TRUTHFUL manner.
No chance with Hoyle in the speakers chair as he is Labour T&T and is there to shield them from the right questions!
Love the tee shirts 👕 👌 😍

Labour just look out of their depth.
First family farmers get done over, who's next family fishermen with their own boats ?????
They dont want to answer any questions its avoidance all the time
I think sadly that one has already done it.
Speaker should insist on a proper answer.
And we dont need ANY comments from YOU Hoyle
Hoyle is a Thick west Yorkshire mug.... He shames all Yorkshire..
What is it with these Labour MPs, they never answer a question, or laugh or ramble on so you cannot understand a word they are saying. It just shows the contempt they have for the people of this country, the whole lot of you Labour MPs disgust me,
We have Trump in office now, just got to get rid of Starmers socialist labour & what a party we could have then.
That Minister needs to resign, he is without any sense of concern for the people of this country.

There is another question they can not answer the 🤡🤡🤡
A Yorkshire farmer John Charlesworth has already carried out such a threat (as covered by Chris Hope on GB News 6th November 2024).
No business acumen or appreciation of rural and agricultural life or the big picture. The production of food is not a problem because they mistakenly think their friends in the EU can supply our Supermarkets. Dreadful,he hasn’t got a clue if he worked in the private sector he would be sacked along with the person who put him in charge of such a vital industry
Why do we put up with this farce. One side asks a question and the other responds with sarcastic tripe. Pointless. Useless.
Meanwhile our king's doing nothing. Wake up monarchy, your country needs some help.
Our Monarchs are NOT allowed to interfere with Parliament, and haven't for the last 400 years...

Well a farmer has committed suicide so R Tice was correct
Was he wearing his £400 wellies?
About time
Was that farmer starmer
What was this farmers name that he said agreed with him what a load of bullocks?
Bill Gates that well known people hater! & owner of 370K acres of prime US soil that he refuses to farm!

They need the land to build the houses they keep going on about ,who gets these new houses is another question.

He will not give a more substantive answer simply because he does not care
Most farmers will be conservative, if they were labour they would have got grants, look at what the labour gave their union masters.
