Top 3 Finesse Bass Baits When the Bite Gets Tough

- Pro bass angler Jonathan Dietz shares his top 3 favorite finesse bass fishing tactics on fisheries throughout the country. Few anglers question the drop shot rig, Ned rig, and Damiki rig as dominant fish catchers nationwide. And while they're known to excel in the clear glacial lakes of the north, these setups perform everywhere, including dirty water. Think about it. Real minnows don't vibrate or rattle-bass find their food and make a living no matter the clarity.

Very good video. Well done.
Thanks for the visit
Sure glad I watched your video. Always trying to expand my knowledge of Drop-Shotting and other finesse techniques. Great job. I also follow your private channel and gain highly-productive info/tips.
Sounds like a young KVD
He has an excellent delivery for sure. A high-speed dude with a background in fisheries. We like his style.
I'm a follower of this man
@Wired2Fish What length was the leader on the dropshot that Jonathan Dietz used ?
I’ll take a bet it was 18-20 feet. 😁
My question would be. Wouldn’t you want a bait that stays more vertical when you stop the bait? The zman stays vertical when you stop it
Good gravy man are the bass suspended over the Mariana trench.
@@sammonkoe2865 I would think that’s a pretty common leader up north. I fish down south and use 12 foot leaders or so. Up north I’m sure it’s a lot of straight fluorocarbon or long leaders because the waters so clear.
I’m from NJ and I tie a leader about the length of my rod. So when I retie, it’s not a whole new leader just a new knot. Then once I get down the the last foot or two I retie the leader
Give that TRD a good stretchy stretch and it’ll standup a little better.
If all you do called pro,s would get rid of of the live scopes n learn how to fish again like you did growing up the pressure on the fish would be lots less.
I can always point out the guys who have never used FFS by their comments the majority of bass fishermen have FFS but only a small percentage know how to catch them on it and yes they are pros
