JYP is known as a huge fan having dedicated a whole room to him and hanging albums everywhere so people know who he is inspired by. (In the JYP building+ he is known in Asia for being a fan) This song was a blatant tribute. In the dance creation video some of the moves were copied from Rains old old music video. Plus no one owns a dance move.You don’t credit someone every time you whip or naenae. This video had many inspirations. Idek why people are not just stating the obvious it was a tribute and JYP would acknowledge this fact. No it’s not an exact copy stuff was changed, outfits, dance moves, scenes/ set,video idea,etc. That’s it have a great day☺️

People take a lot of song samples and make new songs with no credit. As long as there is significant change. Plus this beat is not special to just Bobby Brown’s song. Essentially the beat is similar because it's a new jack swing beat and every new jack swing song has a similar beat. But the music that accompanies both songs are very different. Bobby Brown's Every Little Step has a heavy synthe sound that goes in the same rhythm of the chorus that never changes throughout the whole song. The Rain x JYP song has a different melody and rhythm that is softer, almost like an r&b ballad, that changes multiple times throughout the song.
