Big Show in 1999 was almost unstoppable but him and Undertaker together were very hard to defeat I can't even think of a Tag Team as Powerful as these two in WWE History.
Haven't heard that theme in ages, always wanted to hear it again, it was a really good theme for them, suited them bloody well. Could have been kept for either one of them after they split as well.
In all honesty undertaker was badass in 1999 The only match i hated was him against big boss man at wrestlemania xv It was shitty and last 9 minutes. It wasn't even good enough to be in the hell in the cell dvd
+mike freeman The only thing that was worth watching in that match is the ending and it's not even the match. It's the aftermath with Bossman hanging from the cell with a noose.
This was when The Undertaker started taking on the American Badass gimmick. It didn't happen at Judgement Day 2000, it happened when he teamed up with the Big Show!
Why can't the music be good anymore. Jim Johnston's been around for a heck of a long time, and he produced some great instrumental themes. Sure, the ones with lyrics by actual bands like Miz and Drew McIntyre are good but it's these ones that everybody would remember for a lifetime!
This team was awesome, too bad they didn't last longer due to Taker's injury. I just saw a custom some guy made for them, Awesome tron for them if they ever did form a team again.
2003 was a pretty decent year, obviously the attitude era was the best of all time, but as a WWF/E fan for the past 19 years, i dont think the WWF/E has ever had a "bad" year
they need to bring back the old school theme composers. Themes back then were so much better. each and every theme song suited its character to a tee. Same with wardrobe
We still have Kane. He isn't as destructive as he was in the past but his character is still good. Bring back the old stars for manager positions i.e. Ted Dibiase, Paul Bearer, Jimmy Hart. Bobby Hennan's health wouldn't let him.
This team wasn't well conceived since the Big Show had only been a good guy for a few months and then he shifts right back into being a bad guy? It made the Big Show look wishy washy and set him down the road to flip flopping back and forth thus making it hard for fans to figure out how to respond to him.
WWF Attitude, I am so glad I was able to grow up with this era of the WWE. The product is now trash and has been heavily watered down. Feel so sorry for the kids of this generation.
I LOVE MR.MARKK CALLAWAY(UNDERTAKER),in wwf (1999)he had many era's the ministry of darkness, the comporyte of ministry, and the unholy alliance(big show was very storg cause he was wiht THE UNDERTAKER!.I LOVE THE UNDERTAKER! AS MY FATHER
I think that would have been a sweet match, for them to take on Undertaker and Big Show, I would have loved to have seen that, I was saying it would have been sweet to see them face Unholy Alliance, and they were tag champs at one point.
I remember the rumour went round at school that if you won the tag titles with Undertaker and Big Show on Wrestlemania 2000, you would unlock hell in a cell matches. I miss bullshit primary school playground rumours...
They joined and became a tag team when coroporate ministry ended when stone cold won the WWF champion! X-pac came and hit taker so he decided to join forces with Big Show!
I wish that Owen Hart was alive during the summer of 1999, we could have seen Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett team up to take on the Unholy Alliance, that would have sweet, or how about the dream team of John Cena and Batista vs the Unholy Alliance, that would be pretty sweet and would have been exciting in my opinion.
if i remember right, big show teamed up with undertaker at the summerslam with jesse ventura (cant remember the year-possibly 1999) coz im sure he dissappeared for a year and returned as big evil biker taker.
@takerman15 they were heel tag team at vs face tag team sean walrman in his prime xpac and in in shape glen jacobs kane at summerslam 1999 at target center in minapolis minnesota.
@jojosicecep Kayfabe meaning that its something to do with the plot, pretty much he's not really injured.Like remember when HHH married Stephanie Mcmahon in the late 90's when she was drunk, well that wasnt real, it was just there for the story therefore it is kayfabe.
I was thinking the same thing, I wonder how it would have worked if Owen Hart was "The Game" I wonder what HHH would have been, sucks we will never know.
@newgrounds97 dont forget messing up ECW, Random Hosts, NXT, HBK leaving, spliting up the roster, D-X no more, messing up the nWo, The steroid scare...BUT I AGREE THE VIDEO GAMES ARE FUN
@Bigstarrocker9 Yeah it ended up sucking after the 21st century started, I mean alot has happened since 1999, John Cena Started,Batista Started,Stone Cold Left, The Attitude Era Ended,Kane Became Unmasked,WWF Changed its name to WWE. Alot of thing have happened....alot of thing....BUT THE VIDEO GAMES ARE STILL GOOD!
Undertaker and Big Show should join forces again in order to take out Kane, then maybe Kane will turn face and join them. Then no one would be safe, NO ONE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The three would forever be champions.
Undertaker suffered a Groin Injury after He refuses to compete in a Casket Match Against Triple Hunter on Smackdown that's why He walked out on Vince Mcmahon His Boss and was Fired by Him British Bulldog replaced Him in the Six Pack Challenge Match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Unforgiving that Involved Rock Mankind Big Show Kane Triple Hunter with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Ring Enforcer at Judgement Day 2000 Undertaker Returned attack The Mcmahon Clan Turning Face but cost Rock the WWF Title Shawn Manshion was the Special Guest Referee that's why Triple Hunter won the World Wrestling Federation Championship
The only super stars left from the attitude era now are The undertaker, HBK, Triple H, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Jericho,Kane, JBL, Mark Henry, Edge, D lo Brown and the big show. Retirement is close for Undertaker,HBK and JBL who are some of the best wrestlers WWE has. I'm pissed how they won't give D Lo Brown a real chance. No one gives a fuck for Mark Henry. Matt Hardy is looking boring as ECW champion. Triple H will be around a little longer hogging the spot light as always from younger wrestlers.
If you watch my ECW reviews, you will see that I lose excitement for the review more and more each week. Personally I never liked the Hardys, but Matt's time as champion could be a lot better. Heres some of my views that might make ECW better: 1.send the hardcore title to ECW 2. Give Tommy Dreamer, Evan or Morrison the ECW title. 3. Stop giving Mark title shots every single month. 4. build up Armando Estrada. It would shock everyone like his muscles did.
Did you hear what Jeff on TNA say about WCW? He said WCW died because they refused to pass the torch on to the younger guys. That is kind of true but the WWE isn't as bad with it as WCW was. WWE might very well die but it might not be in our life time since they have ways of fixing things when they are going wrong. ECW might die way before Raw or Smackdown however.
Taker is old and useless today. Him retiring is a way for some superstar to become huge.. imagine someone like edge retiring undertaker at WM25 that would make him an ever bigger star.
they maybe good wrestlers but they have been given the stage, fame and accomplishments served on a platter.. whereas our earlier wrestlers would have to earn it.. they would actually compete to win the people's respect... nowadays its not like that :( even tho wwe is fake but earlier it used to look pretty real but now we can clearly make out the wrestlers are doing a stageplay.. the wrestlemania2012 matches sucked so bad compared to earlier wrestlemanias.. this time it was drama
wasnt this just before undertaker left for a year? or at least sometime around then? around unforgiven 99? maybe im getting confused in my old age lol!
@Bigstarrocker9 HBK left? I havent watched any wrestling much since 08, that sucks though. Yeah i really like thee video games cause of the legend type characters, like the rock and stuff.
@Ezzee or earthquake/typhoon the natural disasters I think was their name??also the legion of doom I liked alot and even the hart foundation, but this team was no slouch
I perfer the nWo era and i allways complaned on 2003 and after..but now ive relized that it was pretty good years...but in 2006 it went bad..they got DX which saved the year(and it could be alot better if they took in the nWo) but when Triple H torn his knee, in my opinon WWE died...
But,those things might never come to true. Vince didn't like what ECW stood for, so he cut out all the extreme rules matches and do you know what Vince does to other wrestling company's that are now under his control? Like WCW he makes them look bad to the day he doesn't want them no more. It leads to another point that, a lot of WWE talent are going to TNA because they are tired of how the WWE does things. Triple H will never have a problem with the WWE because he's fucking the bosses daughter.
Big Show in 1999 was almost unstoppable but him and Undertaker together were very hard to defeat I can't even think of a Tag Team as Powerful as these two in WWE History.
+Adrian Jackson not so much Undertaker since he was injured as fuck at this time and had to force Big Show into handicap matches.
Adrian Jackson probably the only team to defeat them was the rock and mankind i think
@@therdlyon Even they needed either low blows or someone else.
"What used to be known as Summerslam, will now be known as Armageddon! And whoever shows up, will be hurt!"
I used to love when they were tag champs and during their matches Undertaker would go and do commentary and Big Show would fight alone haha
total combined weight of 828lbs they r the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions The Big Show & The Undertaker
Haven't heard that theme in ages, always wanted to hear it again, it was a really good theme for them, suited them bloody well. Could have been kept for either one of them after they split as well.
Creepy ass theme! This tag team freaked me out as a kid too.
Back when undertaker was a heel and had the ministry of darkness.
This was post-ministry.
Oops inaccuracy
mike freeman No biggie man.
In all honesty undertaker was badass in 1999
The only match i hated was him against big boss man at wrestlemania xv
It was shitty and last 9 minutes.
It wasn't even good enough to be in the hell in the cell dvd
+mike freeman The only thing that was worth watching in that match is the ending and it's not even the match. It's the aftermath with Bossman hanging from the cell with a noose.
Can you imagine if Kane, Big Show and the Undertaker ever formed a stable? I don't believe anyone would be able to defeat them!
...and there ain't a damn thing he, or anyone else can do about it
i thank time to put back the unholy alliance big show and undertaker
This was when The Undertaker started taking on the American Badass gimmick. It didn't happen at Judgement Day 2000, it happened when he teamed up with the Big Show!
Why can't the music be good anymore. Jim Johnston's been around for a heck of a long time, and he produced some great instrumental themes. Sure, the ones with lyrics by actual bands like Miz and Drew McIntyre are good but it's these ones that everybody would remember for a lifetime!
this team scared the damn hell out of me when i was a kid (8 years old at the time)
badass
another cool them for the deadman and big show
Sounds like a mix of 1999 big show theme 1995 wcw giant theme and undertaker 1999 theme
It is
This team was awesome, too bad they didn't last longer due to Taker's injury. I just saw a custom some guy made for them, Awesome tron for them if they ever did form a team again.
I wish Show and Taker could team up again
Watch the first smackdown [not pilot] undertaker slaps big show while he is in a tag team title match but he is fighting be him self
Undertaker- This sunday summerslam will become armageddon
Big Show- Armageddon
Undertaker- and who ever shows up will be hurt.
That promo was great.
awesome theme didn't remember this one :P
Show looked hella big back then, like he was 7'3 or some shit lol
2003 was a pretty decent year, obviously the attitude era was the best of all time, but as a WWF/E fan for the past 19 years, i dont think the WWF/E has ever had a "bad" year
From what I remember Taker was suspended for not doing a match then a few months later he showed up as American badass. Thats how I remember it.
they need to bring back the old school theme composers. Themes back then were so much better. each and every theme song suited its character to a tee. Same with wardrobe
I remember seeing them on Raw back during the late part of 1999. Probably one of the most intimidating teams of the Attitude Era.
thay need to put theme together a get this year big show and undertaker
I've always wondered what would have happened if taker didn't get injured during this era
He use to talk about stabbing the Big Show in the back. LOL
We still have Kane. He isn't as destructive as he was in the past but his character is still good. Bring back the old stars for manager positions i.e. Ted Dibiase, Paul Bearer, Jimmy Hart. Bobby Hennan's health wouldn't let him.
Least favorite undertaker theme
This team wasn't well conceived since the Big Show had only been a good guy for a few months and then he shifts right back into being a bad guy? It made the Big Show look wishy washy and set him down the road to flip flopping back and forth thus making it hard for fans to figure out how to respond to him.

I think that Kane, Undertaker and Big Show would be a great stable.
Probably one of the more interesting tag teams in the last years of the Attitude Era.
I could not remember their tag name to save my life.
They joined and became a tag team when coroporate ministry ended when stone cold won the WWF champion! X-pac came and hit taker so he decided to join forces with Big Show!
Two of the biggest faces of this era, why wouldn't it be a dream team?
@TeflonBTM Personally, I'd love to see this team go up against the Colossal Connection.
she should of brought back this team to fight vickie instead of making them fight each other it would be something we havent seen in years
Evil ass theme. WWE should bring in a dark vampire style psychopath character with this theme!!!
Sadly I think we're close to Taker retiring.
bring back the unholy alliance !!!!!!!!
awesome stuff
That would have been sweet, I wonder what HHH would have been if Owen Hart took "The Game" gimmick. It sucks that we will never know.
best tag team in history
one of the greatest tag team ever!
if i remember right, big show teamed up with undertaker at the summerslam with jesse ventura (cant remember the year-possibly 1999) coz im sure he dissappeared for a year and returned as big evil biker taker.
taker was gonna return at the royal rumble 2000 but got re-injured so is return was pushed back until judgment day
I like Triple H , but I want him back on Raw where he can't interfere with Undertakers spot light.
god, a tag team made in hell. unstoppable.
@takerman15 they were heel tag team at vs face tag team sean walrman in his prime xpac and in in shape glen jacobs kane at summerslam 1999 at target center in minapolis minnesota.
@jojosicecep Kayfabe meaning that its something to do with the plot, pretty much he's not really injured.Like remember when HHH married Stephanie Mcmahon in the late 90's when she was drunk, well that wasnt real, it was just there for the story therefore it is kayfabe.
at a combined weight of 828lbs they are the tag team champions undertaker and standing 7 ft tall the big show unholy alliance
I was thinking the same thing, I wonder how it would have worked if Owen Hart was "The Game" I wonder what HHH would have been, sucks we will never know.
ace of hearts 65 I think they were heel. this song is awesome.
Regardless, WWE's end is closing in. One of these years, it's gonna die.
@newgrounds97 dont forget messing up ECW, Random Hosts, NXT, HBK leaving, spliting up the roster, D-X no more, messing up the nWo, The steroid scare...BUT I AGREE THE VIDEO GAMES ARE FUN
@Bigstarrocker9 Yeah it ended up sucking after the 21st century started, I mean alot has happened since 1999, John Cena Started,Batista Started,Stone Cold Left, The Attitude Era Ended,Kane Became Unmasked,WWF Changed its name to WWE. love the theme =)
@SupremeBlasphemer666 RIP WWE lockerroom. After that Show and Taker fight it out to the bitter end.
Undertaker and Big Show should join forces again in order to take out Kane, then maybe Kane will turn face and join them. Then no one would be safe, NO ONE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The three would forever be champions.
Wwf in 1999 was the best
at a combined weight of 828lbs the undertaker and the big show
Undertaker suffered a Groin Injury after He refuses to compete in a Casket Match Against Triple Hunter on Smackdown that's why He walked out on Vince Mcmahon His Boss and was Fired by Him British Bulldog replaced Him in the Six Pack Challenge Match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Unforgiving that Involved Rock Mankind Big Show Kane Triple Hunter with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Ring Enforcer at Judgement Day 2000 Undertaker Returned attack The Mcmahon Clan Turning Face but cost Rock the WWF Title Shawn Manshion was the Special Guest Referee that's why Triple Hunter won the World Wrestling Federation Championship
Lol half the stuff you said didn't make sense and didn't have any relation with the theme song.
Percy Pourier It kinda does. That the reason they had to split
savedbythebellnascar I meant it was hard to read with no punctuation.
+Blake “Tireless Warrior” Napier Im all about Shawn Manshion and Triple Hunter
@2willboi ahhh i faintly remember now. thanks!
That would be great.
The only super stars left from the attitude era now are The undertaker, HBK, Triple H, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Jericho,Kane, JBL, Mark Henry, Edge, D lo Brown and the big show. this could be fantastic 4 halloween !!
@Bigstarrocker9 Did Undertaker give him a legit injury? Or is he just gone because of kayfabe?
Did you hear what Jeff on TNA say about WCW? He said WCW died because they refused to pass the torch on to the younger guys. That is kind of true but the WWE isn't as bad with it as WCW was. WWE might very well die but it might not be in our life time since they have ways of fixing things when they are going wrong. ECW might die way before Raw or Smackdown however.
back when Big Show was "500lbs*... didn't you hear? he's lost weight.. nevermind, he found it
@SuperJamdon
your right.
Undertaker 6 '8"
Big Show 7' 0"
Jim Johnston still composes the music.
HE IS THE... dead man walking :D
Groin injury in September of 1999 I believe.
Taker is old and useless today. Him retiring is a way for some superstar to become huge.. imagine someone like edge retiring undertaker at WM25 that would make him an ever bigger star.
all the Attitude era wrestler were better than the new wrestlers
undertaker had a groin injury so he was out for 3 months
Sounds like Kane`s old one mixed with the ministry.
they maybe good wrestlers but they have been given the stage, fame and accomplishments served on a platter.. whereas our earlier wrestlers would have to earn it.. they would actually compete to win the people's respect... nowadays its not like that :( even tho wwe is fake but earlier it used to look pretty real but now we can clearly make out the wrestlers are doing a stageplay.. the wrestlemania2012 matches sucked so bad compared to earlier wrestlemanias.. this time it was drama
@ecmulder what bout taker and kane? undertaker is always in the most terrifying tag teams
wasnt this just before undertaker left for a year? or at least sometime around then? around unforgiven 99? maybe im getting confused in my old age lol!
@DaleWF10 2010 DX sucked but in terms of Putting guys over they did that and now we getting a new generation of Austin vs Vince
@Bigstarrocker9 HBK left? I havent watched any wrestling much since 08, that sucks though. Yeah i really like thee video games cause of the legend type characters, like the rock and stuff.
@Ezzee I'd like to see this team against Demolition!!
FOX Sports Australia that is.
@Ezzee or earthquake/typhoon the natural disasters I think was their name??also the legion of doom I liked alot and even the hart foundation, but this team was no slouch
was there more of a powerhouse tagteam then these two???only the brothers of destruction stack up imo
it was extreme era
I perfer the nWo era and i allways complaned on 2003 and after..but now ive relized that it was pretty good years...but in 2006 it went bad..they got DX which saved the year(and it could be alot better if they took in the nWo) but when Triple H torn his knee, in my opinon WWE died...
Yeah, he left late 1999
But,those things might never come to true. Thats um....nice to hear I guess.
