Probably the most iconic handgun ever made. The engineering of the weapon looks…almost space age and very precise. I only held one from WWII when I was a kid many, many years ago.

Oh these are not that easy to load trust me, i love my luger and shoot it alot but that tab cuts the shit out of your thumb because the spring on the luger mag is so heavy to keep up with the action remember, the millitary issued kit came with a loading tool that sits over that ring, now with one of those? Much easier
There is a reason there is a specific luger reloading tool out there. Saves your thumb and is a collectible item. BTW, that is not an original magazine, modern reproduction.
I like that it's a glorious sight. Especially with all that brass. I have a luger round with I believe a steel casing and a copper bullet. It was my dad's. All I need is a luger. Thanks for sharing. The ending was funny 👍
O calibre numa beleza. O recuo é uma beleza. Tudo é uma beleza. Beleza?
I own a Dwm Luger 1917 exactly as this but i always Experience jammings with modern 9mm ammo. It seems even at that time required bullets specifically assembled for this particolar pistol. Anyone can share informations about commercial ammo which is fine for her?

There was a reason this thing was replaced by the Walther P38, and later the Walther PPK. Although a fine pistol, it was over engineered, not so durable, required constant maintenance, and was too expensive to mass produce effectively. Although some German officers in WW2 continued to favor it over the Walther P38 as it has always been a pistol for officers.
close but not quite. They are extremely durable and reliable guns. the problem is like you said, cost, and that the guns all needed to have parts fitted. You couldent drop in one from another so if something needed to be replaced in the feild the armoror needed to take a blank replacement part and hand fit it to the gun which could take hours. The P38 is entirely parts interchangeable and while they where more fragile (P38s often had fireing pins and loaded chamber indicators break) it could be fixed in minutes by the armorer simply by dropping on a replacement slide assembly getting the gun back in commission and leaveing the old bits to be fixed when there was time.
The shining example of German Engineering

Never expected that face reveal, you are one handsome fellow!
Why the long face though?
Lugers are definitely one of a kind. So satisfying.
That's why they were made the pistol in Peter Jackson's King Kong: the Official Game of the Movie.
And doesn’t make my thumb hurts

@@Kl35j If you give it new springs the 08 will work flawlessly with NATO +P ammo.
I love its unique cocking mechanic. How it pulls out and up from the gun is really cool.
In case you are interested, it’s called a toggle lock system.😁
The first toggle lock gun was the Maxim machine gun followed by the Borchardt C93 which Georg Luger refined into this gun in 1897/98.
That's a cool but sinister-looking gun. The kind of gun only bad guys use .

I love the closing shot of the majestic black cow staring us all down. Bovine and Luger appreciation, all in one moment.

Lugers are such nice pistols.
I wish all pistols had magazines that easy to reload
And not hurting my thumb

That just means your humor is perfect
I guess mine is broken too that was hilarious and kind of adorable
Should rename the channel to Misha's Guns and Cows 😂 love your videos bro ❤️
Just shot my example this afternoon. 1918 DWM all matching with period holster. Was a smooth operator the entire time. Loved it!

A treasure. This and C96.
The most beautiful HandGun in the world.Very nice Luger.P08&movie!
It might be dated technology, but I love the way a Luger fits in my hand. For me, it is a natural feel, natural pointing, easy to keep on target.

The Luger is the best designed pistol next to the revolvers in my opinion.
I want one so badddd! One of my favorite weapons of WW1 & WW2.

'GIVE ME MY GOLDEN LUGER BACK!'
Best asmr i ever listened to
Is that the original magazine? I don't typically see lugers with OG mags run that well, edpecially when they're that old.
As a WW1 Luger owner myself I can't help but gush at the condition of that bad boy.
The fact that you can just find the ammo for these old guns is impressive
They just use normal 9mm.
I've always thought the p08 was one of the sexiest looking pistols there is.
the perfect tool for making lots of hinges fast
I have only recently become interested in firearms but my whole life, I always thought Luger pistols looked the coolest. I want one.
For a second there, I thought he was gonna put one between Bessie's eyes, LOL!!!!
i had a crush on this gun ever since i played COD
We need the Broomhandle next.

I like the honest reaction of the black cow at the end to the Luger
I want one to add to my collection but they expensive af lol xD
That cow cracked me up
Now this. Was amazing. Thank you.
Well the m1911 may have the better stopping power but the luger p08 is just beautiful 😍
"Stranger! Stranger! Now that's a weapon!"
I'm wondering why all magazines don't have that notch to help bring the spring down to load.
I have a DWM model 1900 commercial luger in 7.65mm. Fun gun, interesting design.
Idk.. I love this weapon for some reason. Maybe I was playing CoD2 too much.
