So the Hexmark's Multithreat Eliminator ability does not require it shoots at the enemy that just shot a friendly unit. It just says " this model can shoot as if it were your Shooting phase." You could have poured 6 shots into the Rowboat everytime James shot your Warrior unit.
I remember one game… James had three Predator Annilihators… there was some crappy strat for 3 cp if they all fired into one target they generated mortal wounds. Luke had a big squad of destroyers but James decides to target a big squad of Warriors… he manages to kill every Warrior except for one and they all get back up due to RP. Luke gave James a lot of grief. I’m thinking what James the Hell was thinking !?!?!? Then Guilliman heroically intervened into the brick of Warriors and killed everyone of them. Luke was absolutely speechless for once. Good times. 😄
As always, a super entertaining game! Thank you!!! I would like to bring up for discussion a subtlety in the Necron reanimation rules that I came across here. In this game it occurred at about 1:27:10. The rules say that new models must ALWAYS be reanimated within range of an existing model. It no longer works as in 9th Edition that you can artificially gain space by clever juxtaposition. If James has now destroyed all but one last warrior model in the unit and is still occupying a lot of space by tactically moving up, then Luke can actually only deploy as many models as have space around the last remaining model. Regardless of how many he could actually reanimate. This happens only very rarely, but is worth checking carefully in case of doubt and to keep in mind for future games. :)
Well played! Every Necron game is very welcome in my book. The board looked awesome as usual and i wanted to ask, where you got this walls/ruins from that where in your deployment zone. They look so cool!
Lol, it was my duty as an Astartes to warn my Imperial brethren of the misfortune tied to my name =] But it is a steadfast name! And shows it's worth on the field of battle often! Nice work James! Good show! P.S. I love the name Parmenion, for your Fists captain! It's perfect. Adding that extra level of detail and character to an army is something that I really quite appreciate in this hobby. And borrowing from history produces some fun personalities too. After hearing the story, I had to name my chaplain after the prince-bishop of Bamberg, Bavaria, Johann Georg..., better known as Georg "Hexenbrener" (or witch-burner). Due to the most intensive period of brutal witch-trials that he presided over during his time as prince-bishop from 1623-1633 Eliminating 300-600 "witches" in and around Bamberg... Questionable judgement and leadership in real life. But perfect for an Astartes chaplain, in the grim dark of the far future, where there is only war... Awesome video, as always, Luke!! You rock!
Would smoke be the better option on that repulsor, over armour of contempt? Just getting my head around the 10th strats, but reads like you get minus one to hit and better armour save?
Always a fan of seeing Necrons in one of your superb batreps!! A lot happened this game and the aggression paid off!! I was on the edge of my seat watching Ramses fighting against Guilliman, remember those Devestating Wounds on his Overlords blade! He would of been on 1 wound remaining allowing the Skorpek lord shoulder to barge him to death haha. Excited for the next batrep!!
I know you play several armies but please read the data cards twice before doing an action. The heavy destroyers are "heavy" so would hit on 2's when they sat still. The immortals reroll 1's to wound, reroll all wounds if the enemy is on an objective. The hexmark shoots as if it's your shooting phase so he can shoot anything if someone shoots a unit within his aura.
Blood 🩸 Angels Ryan here - did James continually forget that Assault Bolters and Aggressors are twin-linked for wounds? It felt all game like I saw no re-roll on wounds when he could’ve caused a lot more damage against higher toughness targets.
@@StrikingScorpion82 yeah I couldn’t tell at first because you know with editing it could’ve just been cut out. But damn he did well without it? Amazing
THE COWBOY'S BACK IN TOWN! Thanks Luke--I absolutely adore that model. 🤠Also, I went back and checked the first SS82 video posted, and it was an Apocalypse game between Eldar and Tyranids. I wouldn't have guessed that!
Another great batrep fellas. Question, do you guys know how the Lethal hits work with Infernus marines? I’m a Salamanders player and I’m curious about attaching a lieutenant, but not sure how that interaction would work
Great game, Im curious if you think the battle would have gone differently if Guilliman was played behind the front line instead of leading the charge.
That damn cowboy Necron cheese bs was so annoying because there is no limit. Both players were entertaining, but good gosh those necrons made me want to die
The only issue I still have with the Repulsor is that they removed the onslaught gatling cannon. I can understand rolling everything else into one profile but the onslaught is such an individual gun and is clearly mounted as a focal point on the top hatch of the model. I think that should be added back in to the Repulsors profile.
This hurt to watch. Dose James not read his cards or the rules, he dosen’t know how twin linked, storm of fire , or devastating wounds work. Man stayed mis playing

Guys, I hope you enjoy the game! Please 'Like' the video and leave a comment, it really helps:)
Thanks brother for having me on the channel again 😎😎😎”courage and honour!”
Any time lol:)
James you’re absolutely the best mate. ❤

Oh wow! That is very cool!:)
Necron never seem to bring their running shoes, was a pleasure to watch! Very well played!
lol..yes a slow grind with the Necrons:)
Ohh man what a grinding game haha, fun one to watch. Loved see the marines drive forward and shut out the Necrons from moving around the board.

Yes thank you for pointing that out...I think you are right. Good observation👍👍🙂

Thanks glad you enjoyed it. Terrain video coming soon for this board with all the details:)
Awesome thanks! Looking forward to it.@@StrikingScorpion82

Cool. Good name choice:) Glad you enjoyed the game:)
Overlord's melee weapons have Devstating Wounds, apart from Staff of Light...and you rolled 2 6s to wound vs that Primarch...

There's nothing better than sibling rivalry. 😂😂
Lol😂
That was so much fun. I thought James would pick up the cowboy and stomp on it at one point.
Thanks guys!
What blue does James use on his Ultramarines?
I’m just starting out with war hammer and no idea really where to begin I wanted to see what it looked like to play the game so this really helps 🙂
Hard to believe it’s been 10 years! And great content the whole time. 👍
Blood 🩸 Angels Ryan here - did James continually forget that Assault Bolters and Aggressors are twin-linked for wounds? It felt all game like I saw no re-roll on wounds when he could’ve caused a lot more damage against higher toughness targets.
Hey Ryan! Yes shame he missed that! Such a strong unit for good shooting:)
@@StrikingScorpion82 yeah I couldn’t tell at first because you know with editing it could’ve just been cut out. But damn he did well without it? Amazing
Fantastic game as always guys
Impressive aggression from the smurfs, Necrons got 6" out their deployment zone and hit a brick wall!

lol...fastest guns in the galaxy lol:)

I think lethal hits will only work for weapons you are rolling to hit for. So torrent weapons won't get lethal hits as they auto hit🙂👍
@@StrikingScorpion82 they should FAQ that for sure. So lieutenants are only good for if they are in melee basically
Great game, Im curious if you think the battle would have gone differently if Guilliman was played behind the front line instead of leading the charge.
Could have been..he would have been a handy counter punch unit👍🙂
I love my lamp from Serious Lights. ❤
Hes off again...FOR MAGGRAGGE, James u crack me up m8👍👍👍
no stopping him lol:)
Came to see the Ultramarines thwarted by running out of bullets Vs relentless Reanimation Protocols ... no spoilers.
😎 ... ... Simon
lol...that is what it is like facing the Necrons:)
Very good game but I am beginning to fail to hear the howl of wolves 🐺
You need to start a grog da whopper esk narrative for how Guilleman keeps surviving
lol...I think I need to:)
Very well played James.
I would hate to play against three hexmarks, that would be scary!
What's his channel name ? I want to see a 10k ultramarines apocalypse battle report !! I'll subscribe!
18th Cadian Army Group🙂👍
Maybe an apothecary instead of the ancient?, he looks cool but is a bit tame rules wise.
Hey. Thnks for the video. I was wondering why did you abandon Thouthand sons? I am kinda miss them =)
It was Eldar vs Tyranids 12 years ago
Reanimating your hexmark makes your opponent lose their soul. I can never do that to my son again...lol. maybe.
It was interesting to watch🔥
👍🙂😎
Didnt they change the hellblasters to they cant shoot on dead if they have already shot?
Nope, nothing like that in the codex 😂
Well done James! Brilliant. Good game!
Great game!
Thanks🙂👍
What's James other channel called guys?

first: Also, lets go Necrons!
Enjoy:)

It has a heavy onslaught Gatling cannon. You can just choose to bring the lad-talon which he did.
@Urhsg1373 I know but the standard onslaught is a noticeable part of the model kit that has no part in the profile.
Necrons!
Enjoy:)
Thata boy James!
WHATS the best shooty chapter, as to gain max benefit from likes of erdicators, elimantors etc...an of course HELLBLASTERS💢💢💢
guys great report but both you speak so low....! I have to boost all volume to hear you.
Lovely armies and terrain, but the necron player got half his rules wrong which was just frustrating and made the game feel pointless, I'm sorry.
This hurt to watch. Dose James not read his cards or the rules, he dosen’t know how twin linked, storm of fire , or devastating wounds work. Man stayed mis playing
