This theme is the best normal battle theme of the franchise imo, it’s catchy, energetic and also feels whimsical and surreal perfect for a battle taking place in dreams
Dreamy combat is so incredibly clever, really well designed im honestly just disappointed i dont get to use it during the other games. I love how instead of fighting 2 or 3 enemies, you fight like 20 smaller enemies
Certainly, and the truth is that I prefer the fights in the world of dreams because you face a lot of enemies instead of just a couple of them (as happens in the real world), but nothing prevents me from saying that this game is simply a beauty
Its also pretty realistic, because lucid dreams usually makes you see multiples of things that shouldn't be. Such as your hand may have more than five fingers, etc.

It makes sense because in the real world, Mario and Luigi use attacks that generally only target one or a few enemies. In the dream world, Mario and dream Luigi use stronger attacks that hit more enemies so enemies are stronger and more numerous in the dream world to balance things out.

I like that in the dream world, everything is flipped on its head. Instead of the world being 3D, it's 2D. Instead of the hero being Mario, it's really Luigi. Instead of all the enemies being singular, they're all in groups. Instead of using physical attacks, you use intangible powers. And for this song's title... the "victory" theme plays when you haven't won yet. :)

I actually got a dream World idea. Tons of 8 bit monsters flood this place including little Mario’s which can bounce around and do somersaults over you and could jump on top of you, or perhaps 8-bit koopas which can ram their shells into you.
