Such great content and honest experiences. Loved this! Looking to go for my 25th anniversary and I'm so torn between the two properties. Also heard the Intercontinental is very nice. Thank you for sharing!
You have convinced me to go to St. Regis! 😍 My husband and I are snorkeling people so that would be our priority, I was also glad to hear that there are more gluten free food available because I have celiac disease. Bucket list Destination has been unlocked for me 😁
@TheLoversPassport thank you for all of the helpful info 💖 Also congratulations on your wedding (I know it's a few months late). My husband and I just celebrated our 1st anniversary, so this would be a perfect trip for our 10th anniversary or something like that 😍
Such great info! My wife and I love your videos. You provide a TON of info but one thing that would be nice is if you included a bit of travel info (from L.A. would be nice) so viewers know what it takes to get there. Love your posts, thanks so much!
Thank you so much for the feedback! Will incorporate that for the future! :) It is a 1 hour flight or 6 hour ferry from Papetee, as there are no direct flights from LA to Bora Bora!
Love this comparison and very helpful to first timers. Just came back from Four Seasons Bora Bora in August. We had an assigned staff member who checked us in plus on-demand concierge via the app, 24/7. It was amazing and spoiled us. Anything we wanted, they got or did for us. We had great service while there. We got complimentary beach bags, flip flops and hats. Our room had 2 robes (white towel robes next to tub and the blue lounge-y shorter robes next to shower). Not sure why they did not. We loved this nice touch. FS did the towel swans and roses on the bed and for my birthday surprised me with a whole amazing set up with complimentary food and drinks. We also got a departure gift as we left. Food: FS has 4 main restaurants - Terra Nui which hosts the breakfast buffet and all the specially programmed dinner activities. Loved the breakfast buffet and you can order custom items too. Eggs, waffles, pancakes etc. It can get monotonous if there longer than say 5 days. Fare Hoa bar & Grill for lunch, drinks and all day by the pool. Dinner options: Four Seasons' fine dining restaurant Arii Moana. The food is delicious, presentation is exquisite. Think seafood on shells or puddings on coconuts with a live pianist. It's elevated, artsy and creative fine dining. The new manager just hired a new chef from FS Vietnam who will revamp their Vaimiti restaurant (more casual dinner spot with view of Mt. Otemanu) which is their casual dinner restaurant with an Asian focus. FS also offered room service to your room which is good to try at least once. Room service presentations go above and beyond. Note: Portions are large so often you can family style and share. Rooms: The OWB at FS is dreamy. This couple is 100% correct. The tub at FS is superior to that of SR (you can see it from her video). FS tub opens up to the lagoon so you get that indoor-outdoor, tub-with-a-lagoon-view experience and it's much larger. We took advantage of that tub everyday. You get his and hers sinks with cool lit mirrors that are dimmable, robes by the shower and robes by the tub. Room is large with a bedroom that opens out to the outdoor dining room and living room, office area that opens out to lounge chairs. Plus jumping into the water directly and seeing Mt. Otemanu beats (in my opinion) the beach villas. Activities: The beach and motu, pool, spa, chapel and private lagoon with amazing marine life. They have a full time marine biologist on staff. Took us two days to explore it all because it's huge like a maze. FS has a beautiful spa with incredible views (one of the ocean and the other of Mt. Otemanu). The pool of FS is stunning. Their pool service was fun and top notch. Plus their cabanas, a dream! Everyday there was a free something - free drink, free popsicles, free cookies. Subtle, little touches that made everyone feel special. FS has a daily boat to Viatape for $20 RT so not that expensive but Vaitape is touristy. If you like pearl shops and a pretty small tourist-centric town then go. Do not miss the FS scavenger hunt. You will get a cute little gift. There is also a gym with a stunning view of the ocean. The spa/gym/gazebos area is another little gem to relax or workout in. If there's one thing not to miss in Bora Bora, it's the full day lagoon boat tour from 9a-3:30p. We booked ours through trip advisor and saved a little money (FS uses same vendor for more), shout out to Nico our awesome guide. You will get to explore all of Bora Bora, swim with whales, sharks, manta rays and a stunning massive coral reef and end with a delicious buffet lunch at a private island. After lunch you can swim at the beach or nap at the many lounge chairs peppered around the island. That was an amazing day. Two nights is ok but rushed. It won't allow you to fully enjoy the all that FS property has to offer: bespoke Polynesian nights, the surprise fire throwers, the employees who put on a show, the stargazing with Django or native activities like flower crown making or weaving. Or even working out in the spa gazebos. I think looking at their videos, it's better to do SR first then FS last if you want to check out both properties. Overall I agree that quiet, old money, luxury vibe is correct for FS. Ages were young to old, families with kids to couples. FS had a lot of space, it never felt crowded. It's best to go for at least 5 days to fully enjoy it. There is a reason why FS is the #1 resort in all of Bora Bora. Highly recommend it. Best time to visit late Aug-Oct.
Thank you so much for your well informed guide to Bora Bora, you made a difficult choice much easier for a family of four to choose the appropriate resort.
We are planning our honeymoon to bora bora and I probably rewatched your video 100x. Thanks so much for all the good info! If you were to go back, would you go FS or St Regis? How many days would you recommend in each if we wanted to split?
To go from four seasons to St regis, can you get a boat transfer directly from one hotel to the other or do you have to go back to the main dock near the airport?
Mostly no - since we’re content creators full time we reached out to all the hotels to acquire permission in advanced. But the average visitor is typically not allowed to for privacy reasons AND the airport right there!
@@SeawolfSpirit sharks are fish and sharks can swim in lagoons. Sborkeling and diving with sharks Is one of the popular excursions you can book. We swam with sharks several times. If you leave them alone then you dont have to worry about it. But yes there are many sharks ( big fish)

Looking on Google earth…in the middle of nowhere is an understatement. And, possibly why it’s so beautiful. Great work on the video!👍
Thank you so much for your well informed guide to Bora Bora, you made a difficult choice much easier for a family of four to choose the appropriate resort.
Was at FS this past March..was amazing..we had the Mtn view with plunge pool room
Omg that sounds like a dream!

Thanks for watching!
Awesome video!! How many nights did you stay at each facility? Also how much was your total bill at check out for each resort?
Hi guys - great video! What was your mountain view overwater bungalow room number at the Four Seasons? The view is insane!! Thanks :)
Agreed!! Answer us!
ty for your excellent review!
Thanks so much for watching!!
Amazing content guys keep it up!!!
That means a lot to us!
We are planning our honeymoon to bora bora and I probably rewatched your video 100x. Thanks so much for all the good info!
If you were to go back, would you go FS or St Regis?
How many days would you recommend in each if we wanted to split?
Thanks for watching!! AHH so hard - if budget wasn't an issue probably 4 Seasons, but splitting at least 2-3 days at each!
Great info! We are looking at going to one of the two of these resorts. You mentioned a butler, what is the tipping etiquette for your butler?
We did not tip the butler and it did not seem at any place in French Polynesia that a tip was asked for!
Thanks for this very helpful video! Have you heard anything about the Conrad?
We have heard a bit about it, but it is away from most of the other properties we visited!
How was snorkeling at each?
Beautiful photos. I can't wait to go there!
Aw means a lot to us! You will love it!
To go from four seasons to St regis, can you get a boat transfer directly from one hotel to the other or do you have to go back to the main dock near the airport?
Yes, we went directly from the four seasons to St. Regis!
Nice video ! when it was made ? and if i may ask : how much ? did you use points ? if yes how much points ? thanks
We went back in October last year! We used about 500,000 AMEX Points and 200,000 Marriott Points!
More indepth reviews of food/restaurants(photos & video) would be nice, but pretty good overall.
Great comparison. I really enjoyed this video.
Thanks for watching! 🥰
awesome video!
great video. how many amex points did you spend for four seasons? thanks
We cashed in 500,000 points LOL
Excellent!!!!
What month did you go?
October!
Thank you for the video - are pets allowed there?
Are they all inclusive or can you buy all inclusive package
Unfortunately they are not! But they do have some dining packages available
The Ramada inn cedar rapids is just like these hotels
Four Seasons Bora Bora is my dream, but wait, don't they have traditional conoes to swim in? Even with additional charge?
You can only get one if you do their canoe breakfast!
@@TheLoversPassport thank you :)
Which month were you there?
October!
Thank you for your reply.
How r the restaurant/food prices cuz I hear it’s ridiculously expensive
Is Bora Bora in West cost In United State?
How much were your flight tickets?
We paid in points but it was about 80k delta skymiles
@@TheLoversPassport I’m looking at flights they are coming out at $2,500 but St. Regis hotel for 4 night $1,200
@@swtcookie21 where are you flying from?
When did u guys go to Jamaica??
August last year!

Mostly no - since we’re content creators full time we reached out to all the hotels to acquire permission in advanced. But the average visitor is typically not allowed to for privacy reasons AND the airport right there!
Hi,
Please add Turkish subtitles to your videos...
So beautiful but Bora Bora is so expensive
THIS IZ MAGNIFICIENT ISLAND BUT THE BUSINESS REQUIRES EXPENSIVE PRICES ON EVERYSTUFF
Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful places on earth. That said, if you think about swimming know that they have killer fish
What do you mean by killer fish?
@@wonga07I think he meant “killer” like in cool fish to look at
Anyway, there is no fish that can kill you cause the island is middle of a lagoon. Best regards from France.
