Hi Mitch, sad to see you only have a few comment, because this IS important for any musician. I must admit I knew most of it, but I still enjoy the "teaching approach" you use. BTW, I REALLY enjoy your fantastic James Taylor tutorials - I have spent a few weeks already to learn "Mexico" - CSN "Hopelessly Helping" (;-) is next, I finally, I caught a single error in this video at 21:36 "...then to six" should be "back to one" 🙂

One thing that always tripped me up is how the 5th is contained within the root, but now you added a second thing which is that the major third is also contained in the root. Did I hear that right? Some deep space exploration there when you really stop and think how inner related so much of music is. I was just today learning more about chord substitution and this is I guess another dimension of that. Cheers
