I’m not a dad or even married yet but I can’t stop thinking about having daughter. Her name isn’t on the list but I want it to be Janice for two reasons. We just named our daughter Isabella Parker. Sometimes I love her name and there are times I don't because Isabella is so common. I'm so confused what to do. Should I change it or leave as is. Everyone loves her name. They said its stunning. I fell the same but cannot get over the fact that it's so common.

I was born in the '80s and my name is Megan. Without fail, every school I went to, job I had, sport I played or club I belonged to I encountered at least 2 or 3 other Megans. I hated it! I always was referred to as "Megan Kearns" never just "Megan". I wished so much that I had been given a name that was unique enough to make it so when someone said just my first name, everyone would know exactly who was being talked about. I actually had a serious problem in high school because of my common name. A different Megan was this prolific shoplifter and she would brag about never getting caught. I found out several months later that no fewer than 30 people had thought the :shoplifter Megan" was me! Even a few teachers heard the misinformation and thought it was me as well! I'm glad I found out and cleared it up. But a ton of people that I intetacted with on a daily basis spent months believing I was this super thief!
