As a young man, I first fell in love with Lynsey & her beautiful songs in the seventies. Have never stopped adoring lovely Lynsey & being in awe of her ♥️ heart & god-given talent. She was that very rare combination...beautiful in soul as well as in appearance. Truly blessed with so much talent and we are all privileged to listen to her forever. God bless her for all the love ❤️ and happiness she has shared & left for the world to enjoy.
Those were the days .....Spring 1975 when I asked my English penfriend to buy this single for me , so that I could play it in France ....Many of Lynsey's 45 RPM were released in France but not this one ...
A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL BEYOND BELIEF LADY with the added talent of singing great songs as well as writing them. My favourite by Lynsey is Happy Christmas 🌲 From Me To You that she wrote and sang with Barry Blue. I will LOVE you forever Lynsey. R I P.
One of her most beautiful, gentle and romantic compositions. I for one will enjoy it till the day I die. If you have memories or photos of Lynsey, please share them on Facebook on "I Love Lynsey" 💔
This song has quite a lot of a different feel from any other of her songs I think It’s got such of a romantic feel to it And it’s like the the kind of thing it has sort of a French jazzy feel to it As if you were walking down a street in Paris hearing played by buskers or in a restaurant the kind of music you’d hear Or maybe sort of an American relaxed feeling to it But I think it has more of a French jazz vibe to me. Sort of like manhattan transfer chanson d amour.
Adorable..I loved her in my early teens...and yet she was too consumed by a man and hardly a feminist She could however write a good lyric and she had the voice of an angel I actually, despite Spare Rib adored her! And I like to think that I am to this day a feminist and certainly someone who believes in egalite but Lynsey de Paul could always sugar me! I am heterosexual but she was a beauty and I would have been happy to kiss her! A lost talent! perhaps...
Truly missed. Lynsey was a very talented singer songwriter xx
