I love what you do, I had peugeot 1007 with similar system and I noticed there was nobody that knew what to do with it, even if they claimed they had all the correct gear to set it up, then I did crazy thing I have flown someone from Holland recommended to me to set it up as it should be- keep up the good work.
First I want to say that I enjoy your videos and learn a lot. I now have a problem with a Renault Traffic where I had the Tecshift overhauled here in the Netherlands and replaced the clutch, but it continues to cause problems. When I get into a traffic jam on a hot day, it seems as if it no longer wants to clutch and first it doesn't want to get out of gear and then it doesn't want to get back into gear. could it be that the overhaul was not carried out properly
@@nickbakker3952 regardless of the past. I suspect that the clutch master on the robot has swollen seals and when the unit gets hot in traffic the aluminium body also swells and restricts the movement of the clutch master.
@@controlfreak6748 Thanks for the quick response. that sounds plausible I will ask the person who carried out the overhaul whether he also replaced the clutch master cylinder seals. Do you also sell repair kit?
Hi hope you don’t mind me putting this on here but I couldn’t find any contact info. I have a trafic with quickshift. It had a slow leak somewhere which I couldn’t locate, so to slow it I put ATF, in the unit. Ran ok for few hundred miles but then started being temperamental going into gear, and missing 3rd/4th occasionally. Now it won’t go into gear at all. It will when the engine is off but not running. Can you point me in the right direction for a fix?
The atf has probably blown the seals in main shaft. Take unit off .. take black front cover off 3 x torque screw. If it’s got fluid inside the unit now knackered needs replacement.
Hi i like ypur videos very informatove. well recently i bpught renault clio 3 1.2 2010 semi automatic. i m facing the issue with gear. when i drive in auto mode it automatically shifts to mannual if i suddenly reverse then it stuck in R or 1st gear i need to restart the car sometimes it doesnt start at all . then i touvh the metal with motor then star. i am literally fed up what to do with this problem . newly moved to ireland and mechanics are very much expensive
@@lifeofsanahussain if it is a diesel check the glow plugs first. Then check hydraulic pressure in live data with the ignition on clicking it up the gears. Pressure should stay between 37-47 bar if it drops below it pressure problem. Also check you have no fluid leaks.
Hi mate, I’ve got a customers master in at the moment. Selects gears fine when in manual mode, but if in auto once it’s warm it jumps out of gear/misses gears. Any ideas? I’ve already re taught the gear positioning I was thinking replace the robot clutch fluid or replace robot?
Check hydraulic pressure in live data. While driving in auto mode. Lowest pressure should be 40 bar. In auto mode the ecu will want to change gear at optimum points of speed and torque. I suggest the pump is slacking. Also check that there are no leaks especially from under the unit where the unit sit on the box.
Hello. Just a quick one i have a trafic automatic but its not coming out of neutral, the shiftrr itself moves fine but on the dash its staying in neutral and saying check gearbox. Ive spoken to 3 garages about this and they all gone bot interested in figuring it out the issue because its an automatic they wont touch it. Any suggestions eould be great Thanks
Hi. My nissan interstar is scratching gears from 3rd to 2d and 2nd to 1st. In winter I added dot4 in the can. Bubbles in clutch or something else? How do I bleed clutch if that is the case? I can't find any nipple. Any email to contact you?
@@controlfreak6748 i did bleed and even changed the clutch master cylinder (spring that dot4 goes through). Still scratches on 1 and 2 gear. Any ideas? Can I email you somehow? Unfortunately I'm in Sweden so can't just send you my robot for repair 😑
Hi we have a 2010 Renault traffic semi auto and we having trouble it keeps jumping out of auto and Flash up with the gear box symbol as keep juddering in first gear and in reverse and help thanks u
Hi the juddering can be fixed by resetting the progressivity. The reason it may be dropping out of automatic into manual may be a injection fault. Check all engine codes especially glow plugs Egr and injectors. Deal with these faults first.
@@controlfreak6748 ok, and related with the quickshifter you have to „bleed“ System with help of your „calculator“ or you to say to your quickshifter that a new clutch has been installed?

When you have fitted an new robot do you have to program it or is it plug an play as sutch
Hi reprogram every time , the sensors will have different parameters so the ECU needs to be shown what they are.

Follow the pipe that come out from the front of the robot down to the gearbox the nipple is on the end of the pipe. Back bleed only.
