Oh my goodness, our prayer group just had this conversation about what we wear as it comes to church clothes. The church mothers of old will cover you up and tell you nicely about how you are dressed. I remember back in the day I was told about wearing something without sleeves, because as a single older woman I will not go to church service without covering up my arms, and just has become a way of life with me. But, I do wear a tank top but you can just believe it covers up the important parts.

I would say out of respect for God and the Pastor, I am the daughter of a Minister and my Father corrected our dress code before we walked out the door. But today, I think him for it. Hydration is important. I was dehydrated a few weeks ago and didn’t realize it until I laid down because I was so tired and couldn’t get up because I was so dizzy. So yes, drink plenty of water, not cold water, the body processes room temperature water better.

Donna and Robert. It is important to not be too familiar (I like that word) with each other. I used to always dress nicely for work or church. Now that I work from home, my appearance has changed. My husband will let me know if he does not like how I am looking and not in a mean way. I don't have to get dressed up, but I do need to consider how I look around him. Agree - different manner of dress depending on the "event". Like you, I also love the comfort of yoga pants. I always have my boom boom covered with a longer shirt if I'm in public. I've seen some who don't and it typically looks distasteful and unattractive to me. Now if it's just me and my man, it doesn't matter as long as he thinks I look good!

Donna and Robert. It is important to not be too familiar (I like that word) with each other. I used to always dress nicely for work or church. Now that I work from home, my appearance has changed. My husband will let me know if he does not like how I am looking and not in a mean way. I don't have to get dressed up, but I do need to consider how I look around him. My husband likes to dress nice and he wants me to look nice. Yes, we all have days when we want to wear those raggedy sweats. I can't take 36 years of marriage for granted. Thanks for sharing.

I’m completely on the same page. I think just like Miss Donna pertaining to my wardrobe being a believer. I have a couple short dresses in the summer (with shorts underneath). I definitely will get convicted by things, so trust if you see me out showing a little leg. It’s ok seriously, it’s ok

Agree - different manner of dress depending on the "event". Like you, I also love the comfort of yoga pants. I always have my boom boom covered with a longer shirt if I'm in public. I've seen some who don't and it typically looks distasteful and unattractive to me. Now if it's just me and my man, it doesn't matter as long as he thinks I look good!
