Howdy When my late father was serving during WW2, he said that the British soldiers would swap their battle dress with American personnel for luxury goods such as cigarettes and candy, because the British uniform was much warmer than that issued to “the yanks” thinner uniforms. This was reflected in the TV Show “Band of Brothers” during the Battle of the Bulge episodes. Where the American soldiers were seen freezing whilst entrenched. Whilst serving in North Africa my Dad was issued with shorts. Not a pretty sight given his nobly knees! This is a great set. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Wow. That’s some nice history to share between your father. My condolences again. Something to have with you forever. We definitely were not prepared for Bastogne. Luckily it worked out in the end. I’ve traded before with the Royal Marines in Afghanistan. That tradition still goes on today.

Yea... but it’s apart of life. Can’t really run from it. I’ve lost too many friends and family in my life time. But it wasn’t all bad.. my best friend did propose to his future wife shortly after.
It’s pretty sturdy but that one part where you had to put the tires on both sides with all those black and white hole in pieces upside down was a struggle but was able to get it
Its cool how u have the odd ball & the jumbo sherman tanks i dont have those two tanks But i have 2 regular m4 sherman tanks , 2 British IC Firefly m4 shermans , 1 m4 easy eight sherman tank , 1 hellcat tank destroyer , 1 brand new 2020 release m26 pershing , 1 m48 patton heavy tank , 1 chaffee light tank , 2 Stuart light tanks , 1 Russian T-34 tank with girlfriend add on pack n 1 Russian 76mm self propelled gun tank and for the germans i have a grey tiger 1 heavy tank , 1 camoflouge jagdpanther heavy tank destroyer , 1 camoflouge panther 5 D series meddium tank not the new recent one of the G series with the gun mount circle ring around the comanders hatch n 1 grey panzer 4 meddium tank lol i got alot of tanks good n bad
Yea... you win in tank quantity.. you definitely have a larger tank battalion than I do haha. I slept on the Jagdpanter, king tiger, M88 Hercules... which I wished I had the money to spend during those releases.
