I don’t know if he’s feeling himself or back on that sauce, but his comments this week have been outlandish. First the Bailey sisters and now, he keeps repeating this falsehood about the dancers’ claims. I’m so happy Claudia and Al push backed because he sounds asinine acting as if a boss should be able to sexually harass their workers by taking them to a sex cabaret and believing that someone could easily just leave when a job and money is on the line. The crux of the matter for the dancers is this sexual harassment and the hostile work environment where they were abused and locked in their rooms, force to work in off weeks with no retainer, and physically threatened by Lizzo. Not the perks Q keeps pointing out.
The GAG is he can’t either. Him having an addiction (past or present) he has and still dealing with demons that he need to address and be real about. As a frequent watcher of TeaGIF seeing Funky's rant was incredibly disheartening and unwarranted! It's clear that there needs to be another female voice to not only chime in with Claudia on women's issues, but to often times be a bit of a "tie breaker" for a lack of better wording. Al OFTEN follows through with Funky's thinking or cosigns things through laughter or no response. Claudia is always quick to try to provide a new perspective when needed.

I agree with Q on Lizzo’s case. Sexual harassment is an infliction being done to you. Participating in acts that you are not physically forced to do is not sexual harassment (in my words not Q’s). This phrase “having to” is dangerous because unless the acts are illegal, that’s the only stance I can see being taken is that, “ I want her outed for engaging in crimes during the job”. What they did was sold their souls (participated in the behavior that is hindering to your own spirit) and now you want it back because it didn’t get you anywhere. You ate coochie coated fruit and your rent is still due and now you have to rely on our social disdain of the person to see you as a victim as far as sexual abuse. Since it was employment, the crimes could be unsafe work place or practices such as not eating and not using the restroom.

I think Funky needed to apologize but someone who has been in media this long should have known better. I've watched him for years, and he does have a disdain for black women and how they look. I also know from watching him that his rant about Chloe didn't all come from the disdain per se. I don't think it's a coincidence that Carlos King hosted TEA-GIF in Q's absence. The apology was backhanded. He didn't apologize for what he said. He apologized for hitting below the belt. And, quite frankly, he only did it because he was forced to do so by the higher-ups no matter how you slice it and dice it. They're eventually gonna replace him. As a frequent watcher of TeaGIF seeing Funky's rant was incredibly disheartening and unwarranted! It's clear that there needs to be another female voice to not only chime in with Claudia on women's issues, but to often times be a bit of a "tie breaker" for a lack of better wording. If you pay attention to the majority of his videos and his Fox Soul commentary, he targets people who are of a certain socioeconomic status… i.e cubicle workers, bus aides , lower class to lower middle class people etc. He has no problem going after them because he deems them as unworthy, uneducated, and undesirable.

I agree with Q on Lizzo’s case. Sexual harassment is an infliction being done to you. Participating in acts that you are not physically forced to do is not sexual harassment (in my words not Q’s). This phrase “having to” is dangerous because unless the acts are illegal, that’s the only stance I can see being taken is that, “ I want her outed for engaging in crimes during the job”. What they did was sold their souls (participated in the behavior that is hindering to your own spirit) and now you want it back because it didn’t get you anywhere. You ate coochie coated fruit and your rent is still due and now you have to rely on our social disdain of the person to see you as a victim as far as sexual abuse. Since it was employment, the crimes could be unsafe work place or practices such as not eating and not using the restroom.

I can appreciate Q for his authenticity, and he, along with the other cast mates, get PAID for their opinions which Their opinions aren't always going to be in line with the majority, but that's freedom of speech for you. Q gave his comment: Did it cross a line? Yes, but I'm keeping the same energy for the words I can't entirely agree with as I'd do for the ones I do agree with. I've supported Q for over a decade now, so I know he doesn't carry disdain for black women.
I've watched him for years, and he does have a disdain for black women and how they look. I also know from watching him that his rant about Chloe didn't all come from the disdain per se. He seemed really annoyed at the fakeness that she portrays to fit in. The girl went from singing covers of rnb hits with her sister to singing the lyrics of Have Mercy. They trashed Chloe on Twitter for that last album and people have always questioned her sexualized image. So that part of the rant was him saying what people already thought.
The part about her fat face is typical funky. That's the disdain. This man does not like overweight people. He said "no one" wants to be overweight or really skinny. He truly has the stereotypical high school mindset of beauty--only the popular gurls should look a certain way. Chloe doesn't fit that popular gurl image to him. I think he despises people for their looks. If that is not a disdain then Idk what is.
I know it sounds cliche but aesthetics shouldn't be the only factor in judging people. Funky needs to grow from this. You're 40 now.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Carlos King hosted TEA-GIF in Q's absence. The apology was backhanded. He didn't apologize for what he said. He apologized for hitting below the belt. And, quite frankly, he only did it because he was forced to do so by the higher-ups no matter how you slice it and dice it. They're eventually gonna replace him. Not just for this incident but, because the chemistry is off at times now. Q gives "I Know It All" teas and "I'm Above This Conversation" tea. It's off-putting and people are really starting to notice.
I definitely noticed. When Claudia tries to tell him something, he talks over her and doesn't listen. He doesn't like the skin he's in, and it shows. He's competing against us, maybe that's why he doesn't like us. Que is definitely taking the show down. This is why, five nights a week, is too much for him!!

Im sick of Funky's hateful energy to his main supporters, black women.. If it wasn't for Claudia I would unfollow this show.. Black women are tired of being attacked on every level and dismissed when we express our concerns. I use to think Al was more understanding, but hearing how dismissive he was of the black women's reality has me side eyeing him too. Claudia could hold this show on her own and just have guest hosts that would be more interesting than Funky bitter commentary and Al cosigning whatever the hell funky says. Funky is indeed FUNKY and just too ghetto to grow on a public platform.
