Such an interesting video, guys 👍! The tanneries were amazing, something you would never see in Canada. Such beautiful, historical architecture. Loved the donkeys and the narrow alleyways, so different! Nougat = yummy 😋 😋😋! Fondue bazaar looked like an awesome experience. The duck confit pastilla looked scrumptious! Thanks for sharing!

You can say that's fez is the soul of morocco ... in they past they say fez and all things in fez because it's was one of the main indristual cities in the world ..
@@HungryTwoTravel Didn’t know that different cities had different prickly pear varieties. You should try the ones in Casablanca, maybe the flavor is different too!
لا هناك نوع من الصبار لونه اخضر ينتشر شمال المغرب يطلق عليها اسم ((الهندية الدلاحة )) وتتحول من الاخضر الى الاصفر ولما تحمر علامة على انها فاسدة تحياتي
Shabakia should be eaten at a moroccan friends house around the end of ramadan....because we make it the authentic way with almond flour and sesame arab gom (for the chewyness) real honey etc its really expensive and time consuming to make. The stalls selling it use flavoring plain flour and glucose syrup with honey aroma ....it's not even close to the real thing. The real one is my favorite but I haven't made them in over 2 years because it's alot of work 😢
@@HungryTwoTravel You only eat that so called "deglet nour" if you want to have some serious longterm health problems, because the site from where they harvest it is RADIOACTIVE due to France's nuclear tests in Algeria between 1966 and 1996, and on top of it all they water it with sewer water full of humans poo and pee.. Now that everyone is aware of that, they started to mislead people with fake infos on the product's lebel, saying that it's made of Tunisia instead of Algeria; and yes, before you ask, Tunisia is fully aware, which makes it an accomplice! ;)
@@HungryTwoTravel Yeah I know, Madjool dates are the best of the best, I was just warning you about the algerian dates that this algerian person invited you to try.. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your journey in Morocco! :)

The prickly pear was unripe, I’m pretty sure. Get the ones that are orange inside!
