Imagine going a region to take pictures of Pokémon and you see some trainer running around catching all of them for their dex
The official guide to the original game had an explanation: catching Pokemon on these islands is forbidden, and thus Trainers are not allowed to set foot on the islands in order to preserve the natural balance.
@@adamsrankings8860 I think in Pokemon XY there's a trainer called Trevor who is a pokemon Photographer, not so much a battler. Viola is also a Pokemon Photographer as well. Which sounds just as cool as being a Coordinator.

With the amount of Magikarp in the trailers, I'm surprised there's no Gyarados.
Tbh. Gyarados and magikarp are iconic duo
Most of them are probably eaten by bird Pokémon before any of them can manage to evolve. LOL.
I know! I played the whole game yesterday just waiting and hoping Magikarp would eventually evolve cause he's everywhere in the game. And sometimes he seems picked on a lot cause he's just splashing around helplessly. I was so disappointed when I got here and found out there wasn't going to be a Gyarados.
Ah damn. I kept hitting the Magikarps trying to get something to happen haha.

The reason why there are 2 images is because when you go to photodex -> map, you'll see icons of the pokemon you've spotted and they change icons when you hover over them. I guess it's a sort of easter egg they have added
You called Manaphy “Phione”. They look similar so it’s sometimes hard to get them mixed up.
And also called sandygast “Pallosand”. I think it’s quite funny.

This game screams DLC for other pokemon and environments to visit
Really hope it will get DLC honestly. It's kinda funny how some people are trashing the amount as if 215 isn't a huge number for a game like this though.
@@chemix4314 besides, considering it's still taking a risk for them to release such a game a long time after the first one, I think we could give them a pass for allowing having DLCS. It's hard to imagine they could have added them before the actual release, if it happens, I'll rather see this as "we gave you "this much" of game, but since you supported us a lot, we'll give you more." See what I mean?

Cant wait for this game i just missed the original Pokémon snap game hype as I wasn't even 1 when it came out. I wasn't too sure about this game but after seeing the reviews I pre ordered it

The pokemon vivillon uses French for its name so it viva lawn. Also you can just change your region on your 3ds to get all the patterns except the event patterns

This video conviced me, i didnt know whether or not i wanted the game till now, but seeing tons of pokemon i recognize and love the asthetics of, besides some legendaries like arceus, polkia and dialga, and maybe the regies, im pretty happy with this selection. (Also seeing the evolution of syviper, was the base form not there, surprised they didnt add all the starters to all region's (unless im wrong))
Nah, i just want to see all the pretty legendaries, like the twin rocket engines (red and blue fast bois), dyoxis, our gen 3 bois (i have a bias here as its the only pokemon game ive played)...

It’s a little mean that they dropped Magikarp on almost every level, but no way to get one to evolve into Gyarados. Especially since they tease it with the whirlpool at the reef and the waterfall in the cave.
They will probably make dlc anyway

I feel you on pokemon go. I only managed to find 2 noibats and my buddy was only cp 81. Did end up using rare candies but still walked a lot with noiboy (my 3 year old adds boy to the end of several pokemon plushies)

I could have sworn that floating rock seen in some trailers is Runigrigus.
The blank space between Zangoose and Seviper is to keep them apart since they would fight to the death. All the other blank spaces are probably ghost pokemon that decided to be hidden.

I'm hoping that some of those blank spaces are the Galar forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres cause those three were from the original Pokemon Snap game and I think the Galar forms are really unique.
