I just want to say having been a Pianist majority of my life, and then taking Choir as my minor in College. I've not said this about a group before, and I'll say it about 'Red Velvet' because it's simply nothing but the truth. There is a REASON why Yeri was added in later. She REALLY completes the chord for them. They are the Strings of the musical instruments. I'd dare say they'd be a harp. I never watched their behind the scenes before, so WOW. I always assumed Wendy was the Soprano in the group, and she would be outside of 'Red Velvet'. So when I saw them call her the Bass I was like, "huh??" Then the other members came, excluding Yeri, I was like "ohhhh. I get it." She is LITERALLY THE BASS OF THE GROUP. No BASS, no harmony. I say excluding Yeri because she's the REAL Bass. It's just she falls more into Tenor next to Wendy stronger chords BUT, without Yeri being Tenor. Their songs will always be missing that depth. I've read a LOT of people saying "Yeri can't sing", n I beg to differ. She's Tenor. She's suppose to use her "speaking voice". Sometimes even going into a lower register as we saw here in this song. If everyone was all singing the same key, or trying to reach Wendy strength in vocals... 'Red Velvet' wouldn't be the group we know today. SO please give ALL OF THESE GIRLS their flowers for GREAT vocal harmony👏🏼💐✨💕

원래 슬기가 기본기가 가장 탄탄한 느낌이었는데 웬디가 뮤지컬하면서 득음하고 슬기처럼 안정감까지 생김. 슬기도 표현력이 엄청 풍부해지고. 서로 장점 흡수한 느낌?
기본기가 탄탄한건 웬디가 맞아요 근데 뭐랄까 성대가 좀 약했죠 웬디가ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 그건 2017-2018년때가 제일 안좋았던거같고 2019년부터는 점점 안정화되더니 쉬고 나서는 거의 고점에 오르다가 뮤지컬하고 터졌다고 봅니다

I just want to say having been a Pianist majority of my life, and then taking Choir as my minor in College. I've not said this about a group before, and I'll say it about 'Red Velvet' because it's simply nothing but the truth. There is a REASON why Yeri was added in later. She REALLY completes the chord for them. They are the Strings of the musical instruments. I'd dare say they'd be a harp. I never watched their behind the scenes before, so WOW. I always assumed Wendy was the Soprano in the group, and she would be outside of 'Red Velvet'. So when I saw them call her the Bass I was like, "huh??" Then the other members came, excluding Yeri, I was like "ohhhh. I get it." She is LITERALLY THE BASS OF THE GROUP. No BASS, no harmony. I say excluding Yeri because she's the REAL Bass. It's just she falls more into Tenor next to Wendy stronger chords BUT, without Yeri being Tenor. Their songs will always be missing that depth. I've read a LOT of people saying "Yeri can't sing", n I beg to differ. She's Tenor. She's suppose to use her "speaking voice". Sometimes even going into a lower register as we saw here in this song. If everyone was all singing the same key, or trying to reach Wendy strength in vocals... 'Red Velvet' wouldn't be the group we know today. SO please give ALL OF THESE GIRLS their flowers for GREAT vocal harmony👏🏼💐✨💕
