It is simply not worth it. Our company did buy Maxus D90 in dubai due to cheap price, but they all had breakdowns in a few months. The hilux / fortuners ran without a hiccup. Btw I'm not a fortuner fan, too expensive and bit less features but maybe that's the price for reliability

Even I have one 💪🔥 in January it's going to complete 2 years and no problems at all. Best interiors in the segment, feature loaded,looks beautiful,is spacious and is nice to drive as well,ride quality is excellent and engine is super refined

Always Gloster , the clear and the most transparent choice, I think the era has come where those pricey SUVs will be slammed out of the track, they take our market lightly, and I must appreciate how MG is concerned about INDIA , very happy to say new era of vehicles coming, Gloster definitely beats all his rivals with out a doubt!

I know a indica run 200000kms without any breakdowns or repairs, then only he changed the clutch plate and it's still running smoothly. I think after 1lakh kms he just replaced some parts in the engine(like every other car). So if you ridden insanely it won't last much longer no matter how reliable that engine is. Another thing is, a car will be having maintenance cost. No vehicle is free of maintenance cost. Even a Toyota fortuner is having cost of maintaining. Vehicles, gadgets etc are liabilities. No matter which one it is. It's not an investment. If you want to invest and get good resale value, you could have buy gold and invest in it. Everything has it's own purposes. And if you are telling that the fortuner is a great car looking at the sales figure, then do one thing. Compare Ertiga's sales with Innova Crysta. Is that also mean that Ertiga is better than innova?

The front facia could have been more aggresive considering the competition.. MG should have done a bit more market study as to what people look for in a SUV in the 30 L bracket. Interiors look fab though..

Been on the fence for a farm vehicle. This review does make a decent case for the Gloster. The only question would be the long term reliability. Nevertheless Time to go pay MG a visit.
I hate when automotive company tries to blackmail you . MG in my country tells clients that any thing you do out of their service shops is a reason to loose any warranty. And sounds logic, till you know that if you use an oil filter from another manufacturer you loose your warranty too. Those are politics that loose clients. I know personally that Purolator makes oil filters for Subarus. And if you buy filter from Subaru is at least double the price than from Purolator itself. So Whats the difference?? Just a greedy automotive company. As a service qualified tecnichian and after that as a mechanic engineer i am, i would not choose an MG of any type if they push me to buy low or average parts to keep my warranty intact. That is a stupid way to gain respect from customers.
Toyota should launch the Prado as the new Fortuner and should launch the current Fortuner as a bare bones 4x4 with just 5 seats, ac, infotainment system and diff lock for 30L on road! No gimmicks! Just a pure mechanical feeling off-roader which would be awesome, if Toyota does that! Also ford should do that to Endeavour! But endy is love❤

Ground clearance is soo low that it simply can't match with endeavour n fortuner on that aspect!
It got 210 mm ground clearance whereas fortuner and endeavour got 225 mm ground clearance. You are right

Dustwr AWD has 210mm and the old gen Thar had 200mm. Dont fall for the numbers.
It's a lader on frame SUV so hitting underbody won't be an issue because chassis is robust compare to monocoque chassis

Looks promising but it's hard to fight the big dogs in full SUV segment especially the fortuner people get blinded in name of fortuner

Been on the fence for a farm vehicle. This review does make a decent case for the Gloster. The only question would be the long term reliability.

I hate when automotive company tries to blackmail you . MG in my country tells clients that any thing you do out of their service shops is a reason to loose any warranty. And sounds logic, till you know that if you use an oil filter from another manufacturer you loose your warranty too. Those are politics that loose clients. I know personally that Purolator makes oil filters for Subarus. And if you buy filter from Subaru is at least double the price than from Purolator itself. So Whats the difference?? Just a greedy automotive company. As a service qualified tecnichian and after that as a mechanic engineer i am, i would not choose an MG of any type if they push me to buy low or average parts to keep my warranty intact. That is a stupid way to gain respect from customers.
Still my favorite is Endavour

Toyota should launch the Prado as the new Fortuner and should launch the current Fortuner as a bare bones 4x4 with just 5 seats, ac, infotainment system and diff lock for 30L on road! No gimmicks! Just a pure mechanical feeling off-roader which would be awesome, if Toyota does that! Also ford should do that to Endeavour! But endy is love❤
Gloster is not that much good in offroad but features and it's interior looks is super luxurious. Endeavor and fortuner is still super in offroad
