Our first trip and the van is DAMAGED!!!

- Come along with us on our very first trip in our Swift Challenger where you will see us visit Red Lion Ice Cream Farm in Haughton, Stafford. A very local site but a fantastic place to visit and whether you are just going for the day or staying for a few nights on their electric camping pitches.
Stacey also explains the situation she found herself in with the camper van when it got damaged!
On this trip we also fixed our leaky tap and got to grips with how everything works including the heating and hot water on the caravan.

We have taken our caravan to Red lion farm a few times with the caravan club we are in
It’s lovely isn’t it!! We’ve been on a couple of rallies there. Great to be in a bigger set up this time though. Caravan life is definitely the way forward 😍

Great video and don’t feel too bad about the new “character feature 😅” on the van, at least you are ok.
I did a corker of a clanger last month when we were going away with our caravan ( it’s called Doris by the way😅).
At the start of your video your fella lifts the jockey wheel up and uses the handle to tighten it and hold it in place ready for you to drive away….
Well I did that too…. Only I snapped the handle off😢!!
We were going away for nine nights!!!
Lucky for us I found a caravan repair shop that was on our route and they very kindly sorted it for us.
Holiday saved, and more to the point, marriage saved😅😅😅

Sounds like water has got into the parking sensors. spray dw40 onto them

@@Touringwiththemarshalls You can test them by turning on the ignition but do not start the van, put it in reverse and if you put your finger over the sensors you should feel a pulse.

I give my cat an oxo cube size piece of mince ,then if she asks for more i give her another one…lots more feeding times but i never over prescribe..she could never get through a massive bowlful.
Lovey caravan we have only had ours since November and just got an older one to see if we liked it I so want to upgrade already 😂 if your looking at a campsite in weymouth we are going to stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park in July looks nice got good reviews but haven’t personally been there yet then doing 3 nights at a Parkdean near pool on the way back for the kids looking forward to seeing more videos 👍

But the towbar wouldnt give….so it would have bent your mounting frame….not good ,better the way you did
It a little compression on your bumper..just get some grey paint quick..and forget it….i said forget it…if youre reversing blind always get out and walk behind the van to check for obstructions dont rush for any reason unless you have to, like when youre reversing unless you are on a train crossing..
Good point, it’s really not that bad is it, just a good job it’s not newly painted 😂
