Rwanda Green Fund - Ten Years of Green Impact

The Rwanda Green Fund, formally known as FONERWA, was established in 2012 with a mission to mobilize, invest and catalyze green finance in Rwanda.
Over the past decade, the Rwanda has played a pivotal role in advancing Rwanda’s climate action plan. Rwanda is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 38% by 2030, requiring an estimated USD 11, split into USD 5.7 billion for mitigation and USD 5.3 billion for adaptation, in line with Rwanda’s Climate Action Plan.
