I've spent a lot of time in the Barclays Center. It's a great place to watch a basketball game because of the sightlines and Brooklyn vibe of the building, but I also must say that the seats are cramped, some rows only have one way in and out unlike in other arenas and the upper-level seats feel like you're going to tip over the edge when you sit down.

Barclays Center (2012) is one of the first arenas has elevator loading docks goes to the basement service entrance level for the Brooklyn Nets players parking and other amenities.

I like the Barclays Center a lot.
Pros-Original cool exterior. Interior has a cool sleek look, to me it feels modern but not too corporate at the same time. I've been to many games at many arenas and imo the sightings at Barclays is the best. The food is great
Cons-The sightlines are the best bc the upper deck is STEEP. The corridors need more life and its hard to tell Barclays is the Nets and Liberty's house. The grey is too monotone. I put those together bc they can easily kill 2 birds with one stone with this have some BK Net and NY Liberty related things (pics, memorabilia exhibits) around the corridors.

As a stadium/arena fanatic, I was disappointed with the Barclays Center. I've been there 3 times to watch my Celtics play the Nets. The exterior is unique and really, really nice. The interior... disappointed! Very disappointing! It's like they didn't even try to put in any effort to it's design. The only thing it has going is its sightline. Either than that, it's bleh. They could've done better.

How does a Russian businessman who’s a huge hockey fan not build a multipurpose arena for both basketball and hockey? When the islanders played there they basically had to shoehorn the Rink in to fit and the scoreboard, was hanging over the blue line. Incredibly poor planning, pitiful.

I used to love this arena, once you actually go to it you will understand why this will never be like MSG. It’s a shame how lousy the staff are who work at the Barclays.
