Thank you for this great topic. I have been working on this for a couple of months and finally have a routine that is consistent. I start with a scripture that I am focusing on for the month then going into praise and gratitude. I meditate on God's love, His love to me, His love in me, His love through me and making sure I am walking in forgiveness. I open my heart to hear any instruction or direction from Him through the day. My Bible reading is always done while I am driving or doing chores. I have trouble sitting to read. I listen to the audio bible and go through it once a year.

This is great habit! I listen to the Bible while I do my stretching each morning. It is important to find you way to stay connected to God. Suggestion, I do have a video about Praying in Color. This method may interest you. Let me know if you find it.

My when is first thing before getting out of bed. My what is praise and meditation and surrender to His will.
