It has legit been years since I've seen a "new" show with a theme song over 30 seconds. Real theme songs and openings simply do not exist in the modern age and that's such a terrible loss. I'm sure this show only got away with it because it's a throwback but I'm happy it did. We need real theme songs to come back man.
It's a teensy nitpick, but I kinda wished they drew Scott's eyes as the camera zooms in into his visor at the start of the intro, just as the 90's version did.
This is the beginning of the classic 90’s X-MEN resurrection!! I hope they do the same for Spider-Man and Fantastic Four!! Please Marvel keep this up in the memory of Stan Lee!!
Yeah, a real surprise watch the first 2 episodes. Marvel has not come out with any good shows for the past few years (except Guardians 3 and some episodes of What If season 2).
ok first HELL YEAH BABY!!!!! god I geeked out when I found this out because this was one of my favorite shows of all time ....but god what happend to Cal dodd he sounds so dam different than when he voiced Wolverine in the 90's ...I had to go online to find out it was the same guy.....and Cyclops is still an egotistic asshole ...."my X-men" and he wonders why everyone likes Wolvy better

@@jaysonpressley8642 I can understand that but with today's tech they could make him sound like he used to and I've heard VA's from shows 10-20 years ago sound almost if not exactly as they did (the show IS 30 years old it might be xmen 97 but it started in 91)

With all the current political BS we have these days it's nice to see the first episodes were very faithful to the original but this is the intro and not the episodes so I'm kinda conflicted with it. Professor X is dead yet he's in the intro and Magneto should be on the heroes side, not the villains. Actually the bad guy roster should have been changed to represent the new cast of super powered villains they will be facing. I know some will complain at me for saying that but the intro was already altered to show the new additions to the team so its not like changing the intro is an issue, I can only assume that it was intentional, Magneto will defect, old foes will come back and Professor X will be resurrected. And I'm not saying that is a bad thing, as long as the standard of writing doesn't drop and politics don't interfere (which is rather funny to say for a show that by its nature was and is very political) i'm sure it will be very entertaining, but I would rather have Magneto on the good side and Professor X absent from the intro until those changes happen. I feel that they missed an opportunity to pull the wool over our eyes.

The show ended nearly 30 years ago. People age and so do their voices.
"To me, my X-men" is akin to the "Avengers, Assemble!" Battle cry or "Titans! Together!"
