As someone who has never actually watched a full episode of Sonic Underground but watched the theme song repeatedly on a trailer that was on a Super Mario Bros. Super Show DVD at my Grandma’s house and has since looked up the plot on Wikipedia, it actually sounds like a really neat concept for a show. But the fact that it was Sonic branded makes it feel like a weird fan fiction.

A show like Sonic SatAM was made to have an overarching story with real progression and a true conclusion, but Underground was just made to have some kind of Sonic show on the network when the Adventure games were coming out.

I know of the zelda cartoon because of the mario super show dvds, stuff like that was all over the place). What rubs salt in the wound, is that they actually had an issue of the Archie Sonic comics where they met the S.U Cast, and they still didn't hint at any sort of conclusion. Like, COME ON! I get having to cancel a show for poor ratings, but at least give us something that ends it, at least in book form or something.

This show is such a comfort show, I love it sm. But apparently people hated this show, that’s why it was rated so lowly.
