You can play along to this backing track. Try playing the chords first, then you can start with the C major / A minor pentatonic scale, or you can play the complete C major scale. Try to play some nice melodies, licks, solos, or just play some arpeggios... Does that help you? ✌️

I would call it just straightforward rock song. Period. What does it even matter? It’s a good riff and it’s fun to play along with honestly my background is extreme metal and death Core and honestly I had a blast playing along with this riff.
