The impeller is more for a full throttle acceleration, stunting and choppy water, it's design helps prevent cavitation and maintaina hook up instead of just spinning and bouncing off the rev limiter. The ride plate is more for handling. Pwrosnally on my brand new 2023 Jetblaster, the ride playe eliminated my skis porpoising. It really liked to porpoise at medium speeds on light chop, now ot doesn't. It also liked to slide out in hard turns, and the ride plate eliminated some lf that tendency as well.

Interesting maybe its not worth it but if you enjoy modding then thats great. Just got a new 2021 ex sport still waiting to take it for its first ride. Enjoying the mods you are installing tho.

Do you have the stage 1 tune ?
Whats the top speed whit the mods right now?

I do have the stage 1 tune. Top speed is 54-ish but the biggest difference is performance when thrashing in rougher water. Works well with the bolt-ons. Next is an air intake kit.

@@oldfarth2016 good to hear! Thanks to your tip here in the Netherlands I ordered and mounted the intake of the waveblaster 2022 (€98) I am still waiting for the free flow exhaust and cold air intake and the 12/17 solas impeller

Excellent! Glad you were able to save some money. When you install the impeller make sure to also have the stage 1 flash done at the same time. The 12/17 need the higher RPMs. 👍🏻
