I just bought a bottleneck slide , and I'm trying to learn this kind of delta blues style, I'm a big fan of old vintage blues , it's a good way to share your feelings , and tell a fantastic story inside, please , teach me!
@theMansalad Thank you for your interest and comment. Bill has only recently begun learning to play harp. These videos are simply a document and result of our Friday night practice sessions. Eventually we hope to get into the studio and record a CD after our combined skills solidify. Regardless, we appreciate you sharing your advise. Enjoy.
@theMansalad I understand the importance of NOT stepping on the vocals and I'm pretty sure that's what led to the rift between Sonny & Brownie, but in this case old Keni Lee encouraged me to tear it up a little for this number.
I highly agree. Thank you for your comment. Please check out my instructional videos on ebay by searching: keni lee Futhermore, feel free to write if any questions arise as you work through the lessons. Enjoy.
Just a tip for the harp player, he doesn't have to be playing through the whole song. He sounds pretty good, it's just that it might be more effective if he were playing fills after you were done singing, and during his solos. I would like to hear a duel between your guitar and his harp though.
Sweet, gentlemen! Thank you.
