As always I love everything you share. Thank you Helen for bringing a very special journal world to us. I have two journals, two art journals and one challenge art journal going at the moment. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for the day I found your RUclips channel....all kinds of wonderful experiences and self growth began that day.
Kathleen Grehlinger Honestly, your comments always brighten my day. Thank you so much ☺️ It makes me so happy to hear about all of your journals and the joy they are bringing you. Thank you again 🤗💕
@@HelenColebrook Helen you are a very creative artist & writer! I'm impressed. There's such dedication! When you showed the 2nd journal I thought to myself, you are so disciplined and have (make) time. Inspiring. Then another, yet another, amazing. I've been writing things down in small notebooks for over 40 yrs but later discarding them. Mostly about my feelings in circumstances & a bit negative. Now I'd like to journal with better intention and purpose. I do keep a few gratitude journals & prayer and vision boards. I'd like to incorporate a prayer, bible verse study, gratitude and habit journal of sorts maybe goals. My greatest challenge is awful penmanship and lack of creativity. For health & wellness I want to incorporate habit tracking which I never would have thought of on my own. Lots of ideas here, thank you.
Your journals inspire me because they combine writing and creating with collage, paints and drawing, all things I love to do. Thank you for sharing your unique style!
Oh if I could only be as disciplined as you are. I always start off with good intentions to keep a journal, but somewhere along the way I get distracted and then months go by without writing anything. Your journals are beautiful.
Your style inspires me for when I journal, when I think of pages this style is kind of what I aim at, thou I'm just starting to journal more constantly so I'm still looking for what works for me the most. I actually journal a mashup of all the journals, a little bullet, some art, also junk journaling and just my thoughs, almost all in the same notebook (that has a lot of pages)
Concurrent use of journals..I dip into several too in a week. It keeps the creative mojo alive, as you say. My junk journal is evolving into something more arty using watercolour paints. You also seem to enjoy something akin to a junk journal style. I'm adding a calendar tip in to mine today, so I'll be taking inspiration from you 💜 I guess I like a pick and mix feel to my journals overall. Thanks so much for stepping in front of the camera today. You did an awesome job👍🏻 joie 🌿❣️
joie de fi Aww, thank you so much for your lovely comment! I really appreciate it 😊 I’m trying to be braver in front of the camera 😅 I loved hearing how you use your journals. Variety and freedom to create are such wonderful parts of keeping journals aren’t they 🤗💕
I love how organised and consolidated your system is. I have been using one notebook for everything since 2016 but have really embraced the TN system as it allows for so more flexibility and clarity. You really inspire a lot. I really really love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing !
Thank you for showing us your journals! They are so beautiful and totally inspiring! I love your channel and always look forward to new ones when they come up! Thank you x
I would love to see a video on your journals, once they are completed, and how you store them? Even more importantly (to me) is how you find specific things, incidents, events in your completed journals???? ❤️
So nice to put a face with the voice! You have to be one of the most productive people I've come across. I love the idea of multiple journals. I was afraid that I would feel "all over the place" by using more than one at a time. I have a calendar/planner that I have been trying to squeeze everything into and it just hasn't been working for me. I'm inspired now to break out the travelers notebook that I bought. Thanks for sharing.
Debbie Gilbert Thank you so much Debbie ☺️ I definitely enjoy having a variety of journals on the go. I hope you find something that works really well for you 🤗💕
I currently keep two journals: a Q&A journal and a bullet journal. My bullet journal is my planner, diary, sketch book, and everything else. I find it easier to dedicate time to the journal if I only have a main one. The Q&A is the one for writers, so it's more about coming up with stories. I really like your ideas. It inspires me to try different things on my journal. I need to give my new pages some cute pockets; that looks like fun.
Lady0asis I completely understand. It’s great to keep things all in one journal. I did that for quite a while, but because my bujo often comes to work meetings I decided to put some of my more decorative bits in different journal 😅 Yes to pockets!! They are so much fun 🤗💕
I just started to write more in general and it really does help free up your mind! Plus, my handwriting was getting pretty bad and that helped it as well. Using various journals to express yourself is a wonderful way to get it all out both emotionally and artistically! Thank you so much for sharing!
Pam McArdle It really is such a wonderful outlet in so many ways isn’t it! Thank you so much for watching Pam and sharing more about your journaling 🤗💕
Loved hearing and seeing about all your different journals- I have some new ideas and am inspired to broaden my circle with how I journal! First on the docket is to journal through my trip to London that I just returned from (literally)- I journaled almost each day to keep fresh the things we did, but now am going back to add to and reflect even further in a journal dedicated to travel alone. Thank you again for a wonderful session and new ideas!! You always inspire me and I'm very grateful for your channel!!
Catherine Head Thank you so much for watching and leaving me such a lovely comment Catherine 😊 I hope you had a fantastic time in London and enjoy journaling all about your travels 🤗💕
I mostly scrapbook and my only journalling is on travel pages, however I love your videos and your creativity is an inspiration to me! I especially LOVE your amazingly neat & beautiful writing!
AWESOME to see your smiling face, Helen! LOVE your journals and your artistic style. Daily Traveler's Notebooks: my planner for my To Do List, appointments, etc., and my Gratitude Journal. I do Morning Pages in a regular, hardcover, lined journal that I write in for brainstorming, problem-solving, etc. I have other journals for things that I want to document like: Quotes, Dreams, Projects, etc. that aren't necessarily daily journals. Apart from Morning Pages, everything is in a different sized TN depending on what it's for. :-)
Hali Chambers, Labyrinth Gal Aww, thank you so much!! ☺️ I loved hearing about all of your different journals and how you use them. It sounds like you have a great system going on 🤗💕
I'm a new subscriber. Wanted to say hi and let you know how much I have enjoyed your videos! I've been binging them. Your aesthetic is right up my alley ❤️
Great journals! I normally use just one for everything, a copper Leuchtturm as a Bullet Journal -ish 😅 I love it but by now it’s incredible heavy ... your system of different journals is quite good, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do something like that but you’ve gave me many ideas about journaling :) thanks!! (your handwriting is very beautiful btw)
Hi Helen.... love seeing all the journals. Question... In your junk journal, you have these inserts that are attached to the spine (the seam) of the book. How do you those? I love the look of them! I see how you use washi to adhere tip-ins but those middle inserts seems to be part of the book! Thanks, Helen!
Could you put links to all the journals you use and how you created them because I'm not sure how you have added multiple journals into one cover. Btw your journals look amazing, very organised.
Thank you for showing us your journals, which are very nice, you are so neat and artistic. Can you please tell us which inserts you use for journalling as you use watercolours so the paper must be good quality, Thanks, Irene
